HIDDEN AGENDAS KILL

At the Christian Church Of All Nations – Almere, believers gathered in unity, their hearts full of expectation and admiration. As worship filled the atmosphere, a deep sense of God’s presence settled in the room. Songs of praise rose, stirring faith and awakening a longing for a deeper connection with Jesus Christ. With hearts open and spirits lifted, the congregation was ready to receive a fresh word and encounter the power of God.

After a while, the man of God George Athanasiadis began his sermon titled “HIDDEN AGENDAS KILL.” He explained that… Jesus’ response to temptation in the wilderness revealed His pure motive—to do the will of His heavenly Father, not to pursue material or political gain. The man of God warned that many today approach God with hidden agendas, selfish motives masked behind religious activity—which can destroy their spiritual destiny.

He referenced James 4:1–3: “What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures”. In this way the man of God showed that unanswered prayers often stem from wrong motives. If we ask God for blessings while placing other desires above Him, we risk turning those blessings into idols. As he mensioned: “When you are impatient about tomorrow, you will not be able to differentiate between God’s blessings and satan’s bait as you face some difficult circumstances”.

Turning to Psalms 37:4, he emphasized by saying that: “If you make God your hearts delight you will have your hearts desire”, not as a result of selfish ambition but as a reflection of our alignment with His will. He concluded with a call to examine our hearts, remove hidden agendas, and seek a genuine relationship with God—reminding the people that God’s blessings never draw us away from Him, but draw us closer.

IT WAS DESTROYING HER MARRIAGE, UNTIL GOD EXPOSED IT!

Many believers silently fight hidden battles that strain their relationships and rob them of peace at home. These unseen struggles often go unspoken, yet they deeply affect the heart. At the Christian Church Of All Nations – Almere, Ms. Alice came seeking God’s intervention, unaware that a deeper, spiritual issue was at the root of her marital challenges. During the service, God revealed the cause through a powerful prophecy!

Prophet George, led by the Spirit, told her to pray against the spirit of anger. He explained that this spirit was creating a barrier in her marriage, preventing true connection and peace between her and her husband. The anger was not just emotional—it was spiritual, and it had to be addressed.

Moved by the word, Ms. Alice received deliverance as Prophet George prayed for her in the mighty name of Jesus. She was set free from the grip of anger, and a new beginning was spoken over her marriage! That day, healing and hope entered her home through this prophetic words and prayer with authority: “Pray against the spirit of anger. Today Jesus has located your family. You have an appointment with Jesus! That anger is a hindrance in your marriage. You have to be able to enjoy your marriage as loved ones, as husband and wife. That anger comes there as if is sleeping between you. That spirit. As if something is like a barrier between you. So that barrier is going to leave today!”

After the prophecy was given, both Ms. Alice and her husband Mr. Patrick confirmed that it was completely accurate. They stood before the church and declared, “The prophecy is 100% true!” God had revealed exactly what was hidden in their hearts and home.

Ms. Alice admitted that she often spoke too much and disrespected her husband, which would sometimes trigger his anger as well. She shared how her anger sometimes forced him to leave the house just to calm himself down. It had created a cycle of frustration and distance between them. She confessed that she struggled to control herself, and her behaviour had been affecting both her husband and her own peace of mind. She realised the damage it was causing in their relationship.

Mr. Patrick confirmed his wife’s words, adding, “Even when she was doing something wrong, if you were correcting her, she would not accept it—she was always arguing.”

But after the prophecy and deliverance, everything changed. Mr. Alice testified, “I thank God for today—the root of the problem has been cast out in Jesus’ name!” There is peace on their faces, and hope in their hearts. God had brought truth, healing, and a new beginning to their marriage!
