DO WHAT THE BEST DO

The Sunday service was another special day full of praise, during which the skies opened and the presence of God poured out within the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in Thessaloniki. The hearts of the believers opened up while they worshiped God in Spirit and in Truth.

Thereafter, the man of God preached to the people of God a message entitled “DO WHAT THE BEST DO”. He started out by stating that whoever follows what the majority of people do, this person is doomed to fail, because unfortunately the majority of people today are failing. For this reason, he stressed that we should not do what many do, but what the best of them do! Then, reading from Numbers 16:1-11, he spoke of Moses, who by God’s instruction returned to Egypt and brought the people of Israel out of slavery, not by his own strength and intelligence but by the power and strength of God. Yet, before the people entered the Promised Land, around 250 men opposed God’s instruction. Their thirst for power made them do things that were against the will of God; because the Levite’s wanted power, they preferred to focus on power and leadership rather than focusing on God and thanking Him for what He had already given them. Therefore, the man of God added that many of us today wish for things to happen or to change in our lives, but he explained that it is not a mere wishful thinking that brings about contented life but a rightful focus.

Then, reading from the book of Joshua 1:1-9, he exemplified the life of Joshua, in which he served a lifetime of 40 years under his teacher, Moses. By this, we can understand that serving God is to do what the best do! In closing his message, the man of God urged us to speak the Word of God and to meditate on it day and night, and then we will see the reward of God in our lives!

Mr. Giannis Michailidis and his wife Mrs. Athanasia, residents of Thessaloniki, attended the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, full of joy and gratitude, to thank God for their marriage and give Him all the glory for all the miracles He has done in their lives.

Mrs. Athanasia began by speaking of her life in retrospect, beginning with when she learned that the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, opened in Thessaloniki. Until then she lived in the city of Kozani and worked as a speech therapist, managing two offices. So when she started to visit the church every Sunday in Thessaloniki and listened to the messages from the man of God, Harry, she gradually saw herself and her thoughts change. She began to believe she would have a good future and that she could do great things in her life, with the grace of God. Following a meeting with the man of God, she was given the instruction to leave the city where she lived permanently and moved to Thessaloniki! Humanly, this instruction sounded absurd, since it was in Kozani that she had her business and her family. Despite the objections of people close to her, Mrs. Athanasia did not hesitate to move because she knew that blessings would surely come to her life if she obeyed the instruction in righteousness given to her! As it happened! She received a breakthrough in her business and a third office soon opened in Thessaloniki, all for the glory of God. As a result, she has acquired more clientele, professional acquaintances and development in her professional environment. Once more this proves that where God guides, He provides and protects!

Giving his own testimony in retrospect, Mr. Giannis Michailidis, said that his life seemed to be going well, he worked and had a steady income. However, he faced a problem of excessive stress and did not feel satisfaction in his life. During that period in time the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, opened in Thessaloniki, and there he began to continually attend the services, as he witnessed all that God did through the man of God, Harry. A desire was born to see himself succeed and to follow a similar course of success. It was just the motivation he needed and the cause for him to quit his well paying job without a second thought and to ask the man of God to teach him how to become successful as well. So he began to go to church on a daily bases and he observed the man of God, his behavior and how he handled various situations that arose, gaining valuable lessons and experiences.

During this time, at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, he met Athanasia and they began to develop feelings towards each other. The teaching about marriage that he had received from the man of God concerning marriage, taught him that he should not rush, nor judge anyone from their outward appearance. He knew that he had to examine things deeper, carefully, through the light of the Word of God! So he began to follow the character of Athanasia, her attitude, the service she offered to God, and gradually realized that everything she did, she did in honesty for God. When they both expressed interest in each other, they decided to clarify some basic issues about their lives before they married. Therefore, they agreed to continue to be close to the man of God, in order to get all the necessary provisions they need and to learn the necessary lessons in order for them to succeed in life. And so they decided to take the walk of life joined together in marriage, which took place on May!

Mr. Giannis is deeply grateful to God for the woman He gave him because the more he gets to knows her, he realizes that she is the strength in his weakness. They are equally grateful to the man of God, recognizing that they owe him what they both are today and everything they enjoy from God! The advice of the newly married couple to all young people who want to marry is if they really want to be happy and for their marriage to be for the glory of God, they must look very well at the person they want to marry and not the outward appearance but inward. He also advised us to always obey the instruction in righteousness given by the man of God, even if it seems absurd because it is instruction from God and always brings blessing! Their promise to the Provider of their blessings is that they will worship Him forever.

Positive examples are tremendous motivators for success just as negative examples are tremendous motivators for failure. If you want to succeed, you need positive examples that will lead you to success. The way of obedience is the way of success and blessing. Therefore if you want to be successful in life and have the blessings of God in your life, you must embrace the Successful One and obey His commandments.

Mrs. Andriana Sakka, a resident of Thessaloniki, to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, to testify before everyone the wonderful breakthrough that God brought to her life.

She and her family lived in western Thessaloniki, quite close to the old building of the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations. But when the church moved to eastern Thessaloniki, she decided to move there herself because the distance was too far and the transportation costs had increased. So for two months, she was looking for a home to rent all to no avail, since she could not find an apartment to satisfy her needs, both in terms of financial rent and apartment facilities. Then she decided to ask for the instruction of the man of God Harry, who told her not to worry and to wait for Easter because after Easter she would find a place to live.

The following Sunday after Easter, she received prayer from the man of God and on Monday she began to search again since she had stopped searching and waited patiently for Easter to pass as the man of God had instructed. On the very same day, she found a house that was just as she wanted and at a very good price! Many people were interested in this house, as the broker told her. She had an appointment with the owner to see the house and weirdly enough the broker removed the ad from the internet! The meeting was held with the owner and the contract was signed immediately, by the grace of God!

While the housing issue had been resolved, she now was in search for work that would be near her new apartment because she was still working in a shop in western Thessaloniki. By taking a great leap of faith, she decided to leave the secure job she had in Ampelokipi, so she can have the necessary time for her to move into her new home and everything that went along with it. The people that surrounded her tried to stop her from doing this, as it sounded absurd to leave her safe job while she had not yet found a new one, especially since she had two underage children. In faith and trust in God, she testified that the Lord would supply the job before she even moved to her new home. So she handed out resumes to various businesses and was joyfully waiting for God’s time. To the glory of God, they invited her for an interview from a large chain of stores. After the interview, they informed her that they would call her if they were to choose her. That Sunday she came to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, and received prayer from the man of God, Harry. She had no doubt that the Lord would provide for her, just as He had provided her new home. The next day, they called her… she was hired!

Mrs. Andriana is grateful and very happy about her new home that is near the house of God and her new job. Indeed, her new job has better pay and more prospects for development than the previous one. After this wonderful intercession of God in her life, she advised us to run to God in any situation, for He has the solution and finally promised to follow God for the rest of her life.

The lifestyle of a Christian is a lifestyle of positive faith; which means positive thinking, positive talking and positive acting. A man of faith says, “Thank you, Father for blessing, healing and delivering me!” even when the signs of poverty, pain of illness and prison bonds remain. Faith is thanking God for your miracle before it has happened. Because faith applauds before the miracle!

In the following photographs, we see visitors from different parts of the world, receiving a divine touch on the prayer line through the man of God, Harry. The name of Jesus was glorified, satan’s plans were destroyed and believers received what they were in search of!
