HUMAN NATURE

Once again, the presence of God was evident and felt throughout the congregation. The hearts of the people were united with their Creator, through the wonderful hymns sung by the worship team of the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica.

In his message entitled “HUMAN NATURE”, evangelist Stavros Michailidis revealed the cause of failure of many people today. As he rightly said, we are all faced with dilemmas about our lives every day. However, even though we do not know which way to go, we avoid seeking God’s opinion about the matter that concerns us, causing us to constantly make wrong decisions. Reading from Genesis 3:6-19, he made it clear that Adam too was in a dilemma at the time of temptation, when he was called to choose between temporary pleasure and permanent gain. His decision to commit sin led him to the end of his relationship with God and eventually filled him with guilt, fear, inferiority and condemnation.
Moreover, the evangelist explained that man became a rebel because of his sin! His sinful and rebellious nature is what drives him to constantly make the wrong decisions every time he is in a dilemma; making decisions that are contrary to God’s will. In other words, human rebellion makes us do things against God’s instruction! So every time we make the wrong decision, we allow guilt, fear, inferiority and condemnation into our lives; these are the four major problems that rob Christians of their blessings today. In concluding his message, the evangelist advised us that every time we find ourselves in a dilemma and do not know what decision to make, to not consult ourselves, but to follow God’s instruction which is found in His Word!

Mr. Bozhidar Sinyov from Bulgaria attended the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, in order to testify before all how God chose to be glorified in his life, by putting an end to his suffering.

Mr. Bozhidar had faced unusual discomfort for three years. He had a constant feeling of something frozen inside his body, which frustrated him without any apparent reason. He also suffered from hemorrhoids for two years, causing him severe pain and bleeding. The doctor who took his case, gave him an ointment, but it did not improve his problem. The situation that he was experiencing daily was getting worse and worse, both physically and mentally. Physically because he was unable to sit comfortably, and mentally because he began to have thoughts of death. When he learned about the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, through the internet, he made the decision to come meet the Great Healer and Deliverer, Jesus Christ!

On the blessed day that Mr. Bozhidar joined the prayer line, every illness and every disease became a thing of the past in the name of Jesus Christ! Full of joy and gratitude, he testified to the changes that followed the prayer line. His frozen body, which for three years caused him weakness and thoughts of death, now belongs in the past! Even the pain and hemorrhoids that tormented him for two years all disappeared, all to the glory of the Lord! Now, he is healthy and his promise to the Provider of his blessings is to serve Him forever and to not sin anymore.

Whatever your problem, you can overcome it. Just look beyond your situation to where Jesus Christ is!
