WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?

An atmosphere of faith prevailed at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, where all the believers in one accord gave honor and glory to the Lord of heaven and earth!

Then the man of God Harry gave a wonderful message to the congregation entitled “WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?”. In this message, he said that many people today are unhappy with their lives and are trying to find joy anywhere in their surroundings, while constantly complaining to God about the situation they are going through. However, God’s Word says that we were created for the glory of God and that is why we need to find a way to glorify God in our lives! Life is a free gift from God, but what we do with our lives is our responsibility. Reading Exodus 14:13-18 and 26-31, he explained that the people of Israel while being chased by the Egyptians found themselves at a dead-end in front of the Red Sea. God could have easily delivered them before they found themselves in this situation, but He did not do so because this was the way His name would be glorified through their trial.

The man of God also stressed that many of us are good in sending our petition to God, but we are not good at obeying God’s direct instruction in righteousness. Therefore, the man of God explained how Moses did not stand with his hands crossed after praying and calling out to the Lord, but he obeyed the instruction in righteousness which He gave him and immediately did what he was told to do; that is, he trusted in God! From this we understand that trusting God does not consist in praying alone. There are times to pray in faith and times to act faith! In other words, there are things we do ourselves, and others we expect of God. Moses did not idly stand by in the time of their trial but prayed to God to find out His opinion on the situation of the Israelites. And as soon as God told him what to do, he stood boldly in front of the people and obeyed God’s command, acting faith by following His instruction word for word! So we too, must follow the example of Moses instead of letting our senses or emotions influence us and making us unable to handle our situation. Concluding his message, the man of God urged us to know God’s opinion for everything in our lives and not be indifferent because God’s opinion imparts a strength to endure the situation we are in!

Mr. Spartak Hoxha from Albania visited the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, to share his wonderful testimony with us!

Mr. Spartak’s life was difficult, sad and full of problems! In fact, he was so angry that he could not control himself, resulting in constant quarreling with the people around him! This spirit of anger made him temperamental, annoyed, offended and unable to easily forgive or overcome the mistakes of others! He fought with his parents and with his wife all the years of their marriage, and as the years went by, the situation got worse. This resulted in him not having any kind of relationship in the last two years with his wife! This spirit of anger had such a great influence on him that he reached the point of chasing a man with a gun with intent to kill him because he bothered his sister! With great sadness in his heart, he said that although he had five other siblings, they all had the same problem and had not spoken to each other in years! Specifically, every time they tried to reconcile, something happened and they ended up in a fight! Anger, offence and unforgiveness had built a wall between them, and only God’s hand could change the situation.

Along with all these problems, he also faced financial difficulties, so he was often forced to work two or three jobs to support his family. Because of all this and because there seemed to be no way out, Mr. Spartak fell into a deep depression with thoughts of suicide. In fact, he once tried to set himself on fire, wanting to end his life!

Then he heard about the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, and with his wife they immediately decided to come and bring their troubles before Almighty God! Indeed, last month Mr. Spartak stood on the prayer line with faith to receive from God his deliverance and the power to his weakness. The anointing of God located their needs immediately and a new life was opened in front of them. Two weeks ago, Mr. Spartak’s wife, came with gratitude in her heart and gave her own testimony about God’s miraculous intervention in their lives.

Very moved and with tears in his eyes, Mr. Spartak said that after the prayer he received, he was reconciled with his wife and now they are enjoying their marriage! He has also restored his relationship with his parents, with whom he did not speak for years, but also with his siblings, all for the glory of God! Within a month his whole life changed! At the same time God has blessed his work and he no longer needs to do two or three jobs to earn a living! Concluding his testimony, Mr. Spartak advised us all to draw close to Jesus Christ so that we too may receive our breakthrough and he promised, that as Jesus Christ changed his life, he would follow Him forever!

Mr. Nikos Politis was one of those who chose to spend their Sunday in the presence of God and to thank Him for not ceasing to give them reasons to worship Him.

Mr. Nikos works for a company which sells bottled water as a driver, but also as a carrier. Thus, he carried a 19 kg bottle in each hand, on a daily basis, to each place of delivery. About nine months ago a strange pain started occurring in both of his shoulders, reaching into his hands and ending in his fingers causing numbness. He could not feel his hands and could not hold objects. This problem made it difficult to work because he was unable to hold the steering wheel of the car as he drove, even more so lifting the water bottles. These symptoms worsened at night, causing him to wake up because of the pain.

This situation continued for a long time without ceasing and that’s when he decided to visit a doctor to find the solution to his problem. The doctor diagnosed him with carpal tunnel syndrome. He suggested medication and surgery, and advised him to be very careful and rest his hands, as this condition can not be cured if it worsened, even leading to paralysis. The problem that Mr. Nikos was facing was vital as he had to work to cover his family’s needs. Therefore, he decided to surrender his health to the capable hands of Jesus Christ to find the lasting solution he was looking for! So he came to the SCOAN Thessalonica, and took part on the prayer line. He received an anointed touch from the man of God Harry, and in that moment, he felt something leave him.

Soon after, when he returned home, he was surprised to see the changes! On that night he lay down to sleep, trying to test himself, he put his hands in places that had caused him pain before and found that there was no trace of pain! Still, he discerned the changes during work, when he did what he could not do in the months prior! Strength and stability are back in his hands and he can now hold the car’s steering wheel securely! Finally, he can lift a 19kg bottle of water in each hand without any pain! After this incredible healing that the Living Jesus Christ bestowed upon him, he advised us to never for a moment acknowledge that God’s ability cannot heal us or deliver us from whatever situation we are in, for He alone is Capable of a permanent solution. Having seen God’s power act in his life, he promised in faith to serve God with the healthy hands that were bestowed to him and to bless others, just as he was blessed!

As a child of God, every problem and every difficulty you face, seems like a problem and difficulty, while in fact it is for the glory of God. When others say, ‘I’m finished’, Christians say, ‘My problem is finished’ because of what Jesus declared on the Cross!
