A SINCERE APOLOGY

The Sunday service that took place on April 10, 2022, was another proof of the eternal glory of God, at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica. The worship team exalted God with praise and thanksgiving, prompting believers to look beyond their present situation towards where Jesus Christ is!

Then, evangelist Stavros Michailidis, stirred and awakened the consciences of those in attendance by preaching a message entitled “A SINCERE APOLOGY”. Through the valuable lessons of his message, he led the people into deep self-examination, and highlighted a true apology and its effective use. Specifically, he stated that most of us use apologies not as a sign of acknowledgement and acceptance of our mistake, but, wanting to deceive others, and immediately afterwards, we continue to repeat the same mistakes. He stressed that this kind of apology, is of no value in the eyes of people, let alone in the eyes of God, as our failure to admit our wrong prevents our harmony with God, thereby creating an invisible barrier between us and God.

Taking two biblical characters as examples from the Bible, the evangelist clarified the difference between their attitude of repentance by reading from 1 Samuel 15:3, 9, 13-15, 20-28. Analysing these verses, he explained that King Saul received an instruction from God but he did not exactly obey it. As a result, Prophet Samuel corrected him for his disobedience, and King Saul began to explain and excuse himself until he finally apologised, proving by his behavior that he did not understand his mistake, and thus, his apology was not sincere. The evangelist added that an excuse is a reason, whether genuine or fake, which we give to explain or to defend our wrongdoing. But when we excuse our mistakes, then our mistakes cannot be excused, he concluded! He pointed out that Saul’s behavior is the model of a consciously sinful person, as such a person not only commits sin, but also justifies it!

Continuing, the evangelist read from 2 Samuel 12:9-13 to give the second biblical example of what it means to give a sincere apology. King David’s reaction when corrected by Prophet Nathan for his mistake, was simply to apologise, without giving an excuse or explanation and acknowledging his mistake. This eventually caused God to forgive him. David then closed himself in his room and he started fasting and praying, in order to reflect on his mistake and ask God’s forgiveness, which Saul did not do! Actually, Saul went back to his daily routine as if nothing had ever happened…

So, we see that it is not that children of God do not wrong, he pointed out, but when they do, the guilt of that action would not allow them to have peace of mind until they ask for and obtain forgiveness! An apology is not the end of our repentance, but only the beginning, because it must be followed by acts of repentance, the evangelist continued. Insincere apologies are the reason why we have broken all the relationships around us, and ultimately, our relationship with God.

Evangelist Stavros concluded his message by pointing out that repentance is the only hope of receiving God’s mercy. He also made clear that repentance is not only feeling sorrow for the sins committed but also breaking away from sin, and that the greatest love Jesus Christ has given us is the opportunity to correct our mistakes. So, no matter how we feel and how many mistakes we have made in the past, we should know that God Almighty is always ready to reinstate His people, who come to Him in humility and repentance, to the right position in His glory!

THE SPIRIT OF LUST MADE HIM ATTRACTED TO BOTH GENDERS

Mr. John Sites from the Netherlands, chose to be in the presence of God, where there is joy, victory, and every fruit of the Holy Spirit, in order to receive his own miracle!

The problems that brought Mr. Sites to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, varied, and were written on his placard, which he held during the prayer line aiming to attract Jesus Christ’s attention. As the man of God Harry prayed for all those in the prayer line, the Spirit of God revealed the root of Mr. Sites’ problems through the following prophetic word, “All this that you are saying (referring to the placard), that some things have been going on in your life, but I want to draw your attention to something that is not written here, and that is that satan is attacking you emotionally. He is sometimes making you feel lust, and you don’t know what to do, how to fight it. You have tried many things but nothing seems to work for you. This is causing you to do bad things that you are not supposed to do, so I’m just telling you where your problems come from. Because in the process of trying to escape one weakness, you fall into the next weakness, and there are many weaknesses. This one that I’m talking about has been there for many years since you were still a small boy. The reason why God is revealing this is that He wants to set you free from everything you have written on that paper, including the one you have not written. I’m talking about the spirit of lust. Jesus loves you! I want to join you in prayer.”. The Spirit of God provided freedom and restoration for Mr. Sites who, after receiving this prophetic word, wanted to share the wonderful experience he had in the prayer line and confirm all the prophetic words he heard.

As he recounted, it all started when he was still quite young, around the age of 8. He noticed that he was attracted sometimes to females and sometimes to males, or to both at the same time, which was confusing for him. This also caused him insecurity and fear when it came to relationships. Thus, he never went ahead with any relationship in his life.

This issue was something he himself could not understand, or even share with anyone as he felt great shame. Secretly watching pornography and masturbating was the only way to satisfy himself sexually… This issue plagued him so much that he experienced severe social anxiety, to the point where he found it difficult to talk to anyone and to speak normally. Depression was then added to his existing weaknesses, and as a result, he developed bad habits, such as gambling and alcohol addiction.

In an attempt to calm himself mentally, he visited some specialists who gave him antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication, which he took without much effect. So, all that he was facing, combined with the fact that he could not open up to anyone about his sexual preferences, made him feel very lonely. Although there were, at times, people who figured out that there was something wrong with his behavior, he made sure that the truth remained hidden. In fact, not being able to tell the truth to his very own mother, with whom he was very close, was heartbreaking to Him.

In this situation, fed up of his problems and the internal war he was going through, Mr. Sites found himself in the arena of liberty, where he realised that shame belonged to the architect of his problems, the devil! He said that all the burdens he carried for so many years were lifted off of him the moment the man of God Harry prayed for him, and he no longer feels confusion, but joy and freedom instead! Indeed, there is a spirit behind everything, and this spirit of lust that brought confusion, fear and loneliness to Mr. Sites, has no place in his life because when Jesus Christ sets you free, you are free indeed!

Finally, full of optimism, he promised to stay away from all the addictions and things that were destroying his life, and to come closer to God’s face so that he can live according to His will!

Jesus Christ in Matthew 11:28 said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”. So, if you feel burdened, unworthy or too sinful to come to God today, take heart! Jesus knows how undeserving of His grace we are, that is why He has decided to brush aside our past in order to determine our future.

THE DEVIL DID NOT ALLOW HIM TO FIND A PARTNER

Mr. Mahta Kidane from Sweden, although disappointed with his life, he came to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, believing that God will put an end to his problems. Thus, he was one of the people who were blessed with a prophetic word from God, through the man of God Harry!

After the man of God prayed for him during the prayer line, he said to him, “Brother, Jesus Christ loves you. Do not focus on your disappointment; because any time you want to move forward with your life, something always happens to pull you back. You have been experiencing setback and disappointment in your life… When that attack comes and your head ‘becomes big’, that will be the end of the relationship. Jesus Christ loves you! I am seeing you with your wonderful wife! The future is wonderful, beautiful. Take heart! This is to encourage you. God wants to encourage you to seek Him first, and then He will give you anything you need. Do not worry, you will marry!”.

Confirming the prophecy, Mr. Kidane explained that he was indeed experiencing difficulties in his relationships. Even though nobody in his family seemed to face the same problem, he tried to marry and failed many times. As the man of God said, the reason was that he was under demonic attacks. Specifically, every time he thought about marrying a woman, even the thought of such a possibility, would make him to be taken over by an unnatural intense worry, which did not allow him to eat nor sleep. In other words, despite the fact that he wanted to find an everlasting relationship, the thought of marriage caused him to panic and he would feel his head burning! He had no choice but to end the relationship with that woman! Afterwards, he would suddenly feel fine and able to return to his daily life. This made him end four serious relationships, which could have ended up in marriage, for no apparent reason or cause.

This situation caused him to be desperate since he started believing that God is the One who prevented him from marrying, just like Jesus Christ did not marry. In fact, he believed that everyone was like him and he really thought that those married are not truly happy. He believed that he would remain alone and that he could not maintain an everlasting relationship with a woman. Hence, he erased the issue of marriage from his mind and he told himself that only if a man of God spoke to him regarding this matter he would reconsider.

The women he was in a relationship with from time to time were wondering what this strange behaviour was due to. They would frequently talk on the phone and he would also call them, until he would suddenly cease every sort of communication with them! He would never explain why he did that and simply reassure them that he would call, which he never did…

Moreover, he faced many difficulties in the area of his work. Since he did not have a Swedish citizenship, there were a lot of bureaucratic obstacles that stopped him from finding a good job. Consequently, he ended up having temporary jobs, which did not allow him to envision something more for his life.

Another problem Mr. Kidane was facing were demonic attacks, which were periodically coming in the form of sexual dreams.

Now he feels wonderful thanks to the words he heard and hope is being restored in his heart. He confessed by faith that everything will be fine and that he will come back to the church to give his testimony for all the things God changed in his life. Lastly, he promised to walk in righteousness and in the fear of God, away from sin, so that Jesus will be happy with him and his future family!

No matter what your situation is, confess and declare positive things for your life! As children of God, our words have power because positive confession brings positive results, and on the contrary, negative confession brings negative results. Therefore, if you want your life to go to a higher level, pay attention to the words you say!

THE ENEMY MADE HER GAIN WEIGHT WITHOUT EATING

Ms. Marie Senegal from the USA, visited the Synagogue, Church of All Nations Thessalonica, to receive her share of God’s blessings, while finding a solution to the inexplicable problem she had been facing in her life for many years.

While Mrs. Marie was standing in the prayer line, the man of God Harry, gave her the following prophetic word: “Sister, they have been feeding you in the dream. This is an attack! It is not that you eat too much food in the physical. You eat normally, like any other person. Sometimes you even refuse to eat, thinking you have to lose weight. Then, in your dream they will come and give you food. Sometimes meat, sometimes rice and sometimes different types of foods. That food has now become sickness in you and has made your body swell. That is why the doctor cannot give a solution to this problem. The medicine does not do anything. Today the root of your problem has been exposed so that you can be free once and for all.” Then, after the prayer, the man of God assured her that Jesus Christ had set her free!

After the Sunday Service came to an end, Ms. Senegal, feeling blessed to have had such an experience in the house of God, wanted to confirm all that the man of God revealed by the power of the Holy Spirit concerning her situation. From the age of 14, she realised that she gained weight without a logical explanation. She would see in her sleep that she was being given different foods. Sometimes she was fed meat or rice, as the man of God said, and other times she would see herself sat at a table full of food. The result of this was that she was gaining weight physically, when in reality she was consuming normal amounts of food, sometimes even less than others around her who were of a normal weight. In her quest to lose weight, she did everything she could; from exhausting diets to consuming pill, thus spending huge amounts of money. But all this proved to be in vain, as her problem remained.

Consequently, her health suffered serious repercussions. She suffered from allergies, as well as problems in her neck and back. In fact, there were days when she could not even walk! In addition, she had stomach surgery due to a perforation, high blood pressure, developed diabetes, and asthma, and in recent years she had a cough and found it difficult to sleep. Despite the medication she was on, as well as the surgery on her stomach to lose weight, her condition remained unmanageable…

However, the effects of her attacks were not limited to her health! Every time she saw herself being fed in a dream, something unpleasant would happen the next day, either concerning her daughter or her work. Regarding her job, she was fired at the beginning of each year and remained unemployed until she found the next job once again.

In terms of her relationships with the people around her, whenever she had such a nightmare, she had to deal with her daughter’s bad behavior and quarrelling with her mother. But she now recognises that it was the influence of the dream! In addition, her ex-husband underestimated her and thought that because of her appearance he could take advantage of her. This was also the case with other people who, influenced by her appearance, judged her and believed that she was not capable, even though she was educated and had many skills!

The consequence of all the above challenges was depression, confusion, and shame. More specifically, when she was in a crowded place, she wanted to disappear, feeling that her life was not worth anything… Even in the midst of her difficulty, however, God always reminded her that she should not think negatively about herself and her life.

After the prophetic word and her deliverance, she feels happy, blessed and most importantly excited about the bright future ahead for both herself and her daughter! The promise she made to God is to follow Him forever, to do what He appoints her to do, and to continue to pray that He will lead her and her daughter’s lives.

Indeed, when God looks at us, He sees what everyone else ignores, which is why when people reject you, Jesus Christ accepts you and restores you for His glory!

DEATH WAS AFTER HER ALL OF HER LIFE!

Recognising that her life was in danger, Ms. Theresita Lomb from Curacao took part in the prayer line of the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, in order to experience the complete freedom that Jesus Christ gives to His children!

As the man of God Harry approached her, he gave her the following prophetic word from the Spirit of God: “The spirit of death is chasing you! Dead people always come to you. So, Jesus Christ wants to set you free from that. If you are not free, they will just manage to kill you. What you think about yourself is what will eventually happen to you. That is why satan always gives you that kind of attack. So all this you are complaining about have one target, one purpose. They want to kill you! But you will live for the glory of God! You will not die!”. Then, the man of God rebuked the unclean spirit and the Lord delivered Mrs. Lomb from the bondage of death, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

When the service ended, Ms. Lomb wanted to confirm every word spoken by the man of God. Unravelling her life, she first mentioned that when she was a child she used to sleepwalk, and when she woke up, she was not just outside her house, but among the bushes and trees! Her family was unable to understand how she managed to get out and they were worried about her, as her safety was constantly in danger! She also confessed that during her teenage years, she wished to die because her mother was pressuring and would not allow her to leave the house.

She mentioned that 3-4 years ago, she had a dream in which she saw her grandmother, who is no longer alive, visiting her. Out of joy, she kissed her on her cheek. Then, in the same dream, she was approached by a second elderly woman, who is also not alive. Her presence made Ms. Lomb feel upset, so she rebuked her! The nightmares, however, were not over. In other dreams, she found herself forced to drink and eat various kinds of food, which was very disturbing to her.

Giving more details regarding the spiritual experiences she was having, she confided that she herself emitted a smell as… a cemetery! Although she relied on her good relationship with God, she did not feel comfortable with it, even knowing that her colleagues were seeking her death! In an effort to give more details, Ms. Lomb gave the example of a night shift where a colleague asked her if she wanted to eat bread. She accepted it at first, but she heard a voice inside her warning her not to eat that bread, and that the person was trying to kill her! In fact, the same voice told her the name of that colleague. She was not aware of his name until then.

That was not the only time she was in danger of dying. Once, in particular, the juice she was about to drink was poisoned. For the glory of God, Ms. Lomb realised that the juice was bitter before she drank it, and thus, the Lord saved her life once again. Finally, there was a period of time when she could not walk normally. The Lord encouraged her to take time to pray, and as she did, she heard a voice telling her that satan wanted to kill her. At that moment, she felt that God exposed the root cause of her problem, saving her from certain death!

Even before she visited the church, she had been subjected to multiple demonic attacks. She felt cold inside her body, as if she was in a fridge! She was constantly struggling to stay alive…

She was experiencing all of that until the anointing of God located her and removed every demonic yoke! Now, Mrs. Lomb is happy, she feels good, knowing that the spirit of death has been totally demolished! Finally, the promise she gave to Jesus Christ is that she will live according to His Word, and will spread the good news of the Gospel to other people!

The Bible, in Psalm 23:4, says that even though you walk through the darkest valley, as a child of God, you will fear no evil, because if the Creator of the universe is with you, no one and nothing can stand against you! Let the name of the One to whom all glory, honour and worship belong to be glorified!
