LEARN TO LISTEN TO YOUR HEART
The Sunday service of 22-7-2018 was filled with overwhelming evidence of the power from the Holy Spirit. This power manifested itself throughout the congregation during worship and the praise worthy testimonies. People came to share their experience that Jesus Christ is alive and is indeed a True God. It is evident that He does not stop making miracles happen in the lives of all those who seek Him!
Later, one of the evangelists shared with us precious lessons about the management of our heart and its thoughts. He said that the biggest problem Christians face today is that even though they pray to God for different issues, they do not hear His voice inside their hearts and this leads them to search for answers elsewhere. The reason for this spiritual crisis is due to the fact, that inside their heart is filled with wickedness, envy, hate, offense etc. Therefore, Jesus Christ cannot live in wickedness, because He is Love. Consequently, we all must have a liberated heart and a free spirit. “If our heart and our spirit are free, they become sensitive, active and alive towards the Spirit of God.”
In addition, we must remember that for our own benefit the Word of God says in Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”. This way, the evangelist made it clear that we must not leave our heart empty of the Word of God, because then the enemy of our soul will know and therefore direct our thoughts. The management of our heart and its thoughts is fundamental to our faith and holy living!
Mr. Dimitris Paraskakis came to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, with his wife on Sunday 22-7-2018, to once again glorify the name of Jesus Christ with their testimony!
From the end of 2011 to June of 2015, Mr. Dimitris worked on a ship, he was part of the crew. The agreement he had with the shipowner and boss of the company was to begin work at 1 am and finish at 4 pm. As time pasted due to economic difficulties the ship was forced to move slower in order to save on fuel oil, therefore making him spend more time on board. The end result of this was him working from 12 midnight to 8 or 9 pm! This left him with barely anytime to rest, he returned home with only two hours in between. In addition, instead of him getting an increase in salary, which would have been the fair and reasonable thing to do, they started subtracting from his paycheck. Due to times of financial crisis for all, he decided to be patient and hoped for the best…. until the day of his release! That is when Mr. Dimitris decided to file a lawsuit against the company, since he had so many missed salaries and lost his job. After a discussion with the man of God Harry about the lawsuit he did not withdraw because the man of God reassured him he would be praying for him.
The day of the trial the main witness for Mr. Dimitris case was his wife. The shipowner brought the captain as a witness for himself, to bare false witness that he was in charge of salary payments and that all payments had been made. After pressure from the judge the false accusations could not stand against a child of God. The captain was forced to confess the truth and justice was served, in the name of Jesus Christ! His wife was in shock that God turned the defendants witness to work in their favor! The shipowner was obligated to pay Mr. Dimitris the salaries that were owed to him in agreement with the court! Ecstatic that God did not forsake him in his time of need, Mr. Dimitris advises us to always make the Lord a part of every situation in our life and he promises to come closer to God more and more each day!
Fear and insecurity dominate a life without faith and stand in the way when important decisions have to be made. Do not be afraid, because together, you and God are the majority!
In the following pictures you will witness the prayer line filled with people from all over the world, coming forth with an open heart to the faithfulness of the Holy Spirit. They stand ready to receive healing, deliverance and blessing from the Spirit of God! Ready to receive the grace of God in abundance for their life!
