BUILD A STEADY CHARACTER

On 7-10-2018, the people of God gathered at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, to worship and glorify the Most High God, the Lord of heaven and earth! A glorious atmosphere of faith prevailed in the presence of the Holy Spirit, which contributed to the miracles that would follow in the lives of the people who came in hope that Jesus Christ would give a lasting solution to their problem.

In the message “BUILD A STEADY CHARACTER” followed, evangelist Maria Sachpazidou spoke about the problem most of us face today which is that we receive something from God yet, we are unable to maintain it. The problem is that we have not realized that in order to preserve our miracle we need the character of Jesus Christ, otherwise our miracle will have an expiration date. She earnestly stressed: “We do not need the character of Christ to receive a miracle, but we need the character of Christ to preserve a miracle”. 

Then the evangelist pointed out that God remains unchanged, Ηe is the same yesterday, today and forever, while we change according to the circumstances and the situations of our lives. She also spoke of two categories of Christians, passive and active Christians. The first category, the passive Christians, are those that do not have a steady character. When things go well they glorify God, and when things do not work out they begin to curse God. In the second category, are the active Christians, who glorify God whatever happens in their lives. They maintain a stable character regardless of the circumstances! The proof text was taken from Job 2:9 “His wife said to him, ‘Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die’. ” Evangelist Maria urged the multitude to follow the example of Job, who was tried as no one else on this earth, but he did not sin against God with his lips but had a stable character despite his wife’s opposition. In closing, she stressed that God allows various situations, temptations and tribulations in our lives in order to help us build a steady character!

“The depth of our relationship with God will determine if we will stand in times of trials, crisis, temptation and offence!”

Mr. Clifford Uchenna, of Nigerian decent, current resident of Athens came to the Synagogue, Church of All Nations Thessalonica, on 7-10-2018, to glorify God once more for the blessings he has received! After the immediate healing of his leg not long ago, the Lord once again manifested His mighty power in another area of Mr. Clifford’ s life.

While his eight siblings were already married and had children, Mr. Clifford had a problem with his marital life. His parents were particularly worried that he had not yet married and was pressured by them, since he was approaching the age of forty, and had to finally start a family of his own! In the past, he had relationships with various girls, but something always happened and the relationship never ended in marriage. Having experienced a lot of disappointment in this part of his life, the last four years he decided to put this issue to a halt. However, God being aware of his situation and knowing better of what he really needs, spoke to him through the following prophetic word he received from the man of God: “This is confirmation for you – the immediate healing of your leg – is to know that if Jesus could do this, he can take care of everything else in your life.” Taking faith in the word he received, Mr. Clifford confessed that all his problems had already been solved.

Indeed everything was done as the man of God prophesied! The Lord has taken care of his issues with employment, as he is now working by the grace of God, and He has solved the problem with the permanent residence documents in Greece. In fact, in order to complete the bounty of his blessings, God brought the woman that was destined for him, whom he is about to marry in two months time! His parents and his brothers are ecstatic! Despair has finally disappeared from his life and there is peace in his heart, because he believes everything will go well, since God is Trustworthy. In closing, he advised the crowd and in general anyone who faces similar situations to have patience and believe in God, because He will fulfill all His promises for our lives! He also promised before God and people to be with Him every day for the rest of his life, as he cannot imagine his life without God!

As a child of God, when your miracle is slow to come, then you will receive the mother of all miracles! Remember that if you are going to receive something from God, you will only receive it through the confession of faith, because confession governs our faith!

Mr. Kyriakos Athanasiadis, resident of Veria, came to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, on 7-10-2018 along with his son Lazaros Athanasiadis to testify to what happened in their business when they decided to include God in their situation.

Mr. Kyriakos has been a freelance business owner for 25 years and is a father of four children. Things went well and his business brought him a lot of profit until one day everything changed, due to the economic crisis. The change in the company’s finances led him to big financial issues, which resulted in the accumulation of many unpaid bills! He was not able to fulfill his family’s obligations, leading him to sometimes ask for loans even from his mother, which made him feel unsuccessful both as a father and as a husband. Economic poverty has led him to despair, deep depression, while thoughts of suicide began to torture his mind.

So, when the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, in Thessaloniki opened three years ago, Mr. Kyriakos considered it time to ask for God’s help, and wanted to visit the man of God Harry in order to receive guidance. However, the advice which he received, did not agree with the way Mr. Kyriakos wished to handle his situation and hence he did not obey. He continued to try and accomplish it with his own limited human abilities. The debts continued to grow and a year and a half later, his son, Lazaros, visited the man of God Harry to consult him once again, this time so he may take over the family business.

Indeed, after this meeting, Lazaros began to have new ideas, which would help the company move forward and bring great profits. As soon as he began to apply his ideas, he began to see results that he had never imagined! Not only did the in-store clientele grow, but they made a deal with a large, well known company in the country! Turnover grew from 10% to 300% in some goods, and business revenue now covers not only bills but also family needs. Mr. Kyriakos obeyed the instruction given by the man of God and since then his life has changed! Overwhelmed by joy Mr. Kyriakos testifies that his depression is gone and now sees things in a positive light. Filled with gratitude he advises us to faithfully obey any direction given by the man of God, because God will make a way where there is no way!

When you speak and think of failure, failure will never leave you. But as a child of God, you must know that your failure is one step closer to your success!
