MEETING WITH T. B. JOSHUA IN NAZARET
On Sunday, 23 June, and Monday, 24 June 2019, the meeting with Prophet T. B. Joshua took place in Nazareth. The man of God warmly welcomed the crowd that came from different parts of the world to the city where our Lord Jesus Christ originated and grew up. “A humble place, no other place would have been better for Jesus to come from!” he stressed. Emmanuel TV broadcast live, everything that took place in Nazareth, and those who were unable to attend, enthusiastically watched the events unfold.
Prophet T. B. Joshua in his message, “WE ARE KNOW BY OUR LOVE”, emphasized that as God’s children, we are all recognized by our deeds and not from our words. Reading from Matthew 5:1-2, 11-12 and 43-45, he explained that the word “love” has lost its true significance in our world today. We “love” each other for selfish, classic and material reasons. However, Jesus made it clear that if we truly love Him, we should keep His commandments. By doing what God wants, we demonstrate our love to Him. “What makes us human is not our ability to think, but our ability to love one another”, he revealed!
He also explained how important it is to love even those who hate us and reject us, because love comes from God and the more we love God, the more we must love our neighbour, no matter who he is! Finally, he closed his message, emphasizing that anyone who does not love, does not know God because God is LOVE; we ourselves can receive this love as we read and meditate on the Word of God.
In the following pictures, we see how Jesus Christ according to the message of His anointed servant, Prophet T. B. Joshua, once again proved His love for people with acts of healing, deliverance, and blessings in His hometown, Nazareth!
WHAT KIND OF FRIENDS DO YOU HAVE?
At the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, the message “WHAT KIND OF FRIENDS DO YOU HAVE?” was brought forth by evangelist Katerina Otamere, delivering valuable lessons to the attendees. She started out by saying that we all want to have friends, which is not bad. However, we must be aware of the criteria we use to choose our friends because the Word of God in Proverbs 22:24-25 points out that we must be very careful. More specifically, the Word of God makes it clear that we must choose our friends with care for we may become what they are.
Furthermore, the evangelist clarified that there are four categories of people in our life and these are: People that add in our live, people that subtract from our lives, people that divide our lives and people that multiply our lives. Our friendships with these people will either build us up or destroy us! So if we want to succeed in our lives, the people we associate with must reflect the person we want to be in the future; the person God wants us to become, because our future will be determined by the kind of friendships we have today. In closing, the evangelist, emphasised and advised the congregation not to have friends who have weaknesses where they themselves are weak because having a friend who is weak where you are weak is not productive. “We need God but we also need good people to succeed in our respective callings!”
