STOP PLAYING WITH GOD

Α special Sunday Service was held for those who chose to honour God with their presence and glorify Him because He never said goodbye, but He is still working signs and wonders among us.

Later, the evangelist Olina Michailidou brought a message to the people of God titled “STOP PLAYING WITH GOD”, revealing that the root cause of the failure many Christians experience today, is due to the fact they even though they know what is the right thing to do, they consciously choose to do the wrong thing! 

She pointed out the fact that we should not forget that satan does not miss a chance to use our weaknesses and our limitations to trap us and make us stop running the straight race of faith; he aims to make us lose God’s protection. Yet, our role as children of God is to prove that, through our obedience and honest service to God, we are His children indeed!

Using as an example Gehazi, from the book of 2 Kings 5:20-27, she mentioned that as the servant of prophet Elisha, he knew what was the right thing to do. However, the weakness that he had in him, without exposing it, led him to do things that were contrary to the Word of God! Finally, it brought the curse of God on him and destroyed His grace in his life. Through this example, the Word of God has valuable lessons to teach us! Gehazi was “playing” with sin and God, since he was not honest with the man of God, as many Christians do today. This results in not progressing in their spiritual life. She mentioned that physical growth is a function of time; academic growth is a function of learning. Whereas spiritual growth is the function of obedience to the will of God. Consequently, the increase that we are yearning for as children of God, is hindered by our own choices! God is not looking for perfect people, but for available, honest and obedient ones! Closing her message, the evangelist encouraged the congregation by saying, “If you had not been giving God your 100% of your obedience until today, it is not too late! You can start obeying today and when you do so, you will have the same results that Jesus Christ’s Apostles had!”.

THE ANCIENT DRAGON KILLED HER HUSBAND!

63-year-old Mrs. Kakheli from Kazakhstan visited the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, in order to enter the prayer line and find a solution to her problems.

The moment the new morning water was ministered on her, the unclean spirit which was tormenting her and her family started reacting, causing her to be severely irritated. So, the spirit manifested and started confessing: “I am ancient! There is no family! I don’t want her to serve God! Her husband was a minister and I killed him! I gave him cancer…I am the dragon and I  entered her husband, I’m in her children!”. Then, the spirit was cast out by the power of the Holy Spirit and Mrs. Kakheli was set free, in the name of Jesus Christ!

As she later on confirmed, her husband was a minister indeed for almost 15 years. When he got cancer, although he was a minister, he began to look for a solution in the Chinese philosophy, in acupuncture, special massage therapies and in books with questionable context that had nothing to do with the standards of the Bible. Her husband found no cure in all that and he passed away. Ever since then, Mrs. Kakheli often saw an ancient dragon in her dreams. The last time she saw it, it took the form of her husband! Her three children also faced problems. Despite their age, they were not able to create their own family. Worried and knowing that there was something wrong not only with her but also with her family she was fervently looking for deliverance. When she found out about the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, she decided to come and find a permanent solution in Jesus Christ.

Indeed, God responded to her expectations! After her deliverance, Mrs. Kakheli feels free, happy and thankful to God for the heavenly freedom that He gave her! She firmly believes that her and family’s problems are over and that they have changed for the better! Her advice to all those who are going to visit a living church is to not go to people who practice witchcraft or anywhere else to find a solution to their problems because our God is Alive! She also promised to testify the Lord, His kindness and His wonderful works until the end of her life.

As Christians, whenever we are tempted, we should always remember that our foundation, defense or answer is quite simple: the written and eternal Word of God.

Since the creation of the world, God has used various means to manifest His power. He used the rod in Moses’ hands; He used saliva and mud in the hands of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He even used Peter’s shadow to heal the sick! Nowadays, the new morning water is one of the means that God has chosen to use in order to deliver, heal and save His people! In the following pictures, we see how God Almighty moved in a special way when the morning water was ministered to each and everyone who was seeking blessing, healing and deliverance. People received prayer in the name of Jesus Christ through the morning water and were delivered from the chains of darkness!
