THE PRAYER THAT GOD HEARS

Attendees experienced another unique Sunday, where the atmosphere was electrified with the presence of God! People from all parts of the world opened their hearts to the Creator, worshipping Him in faith and truth!

An eye-opening message followed, entitled, “THE PRAYER THAT GOD HEARS”, through which the man of God Stavros delivered valuable lessons to the congregation. More specifically, he began the message by stating that while there are prayers that have been answered directly by God, there are also some prayers that we have been praying for years that have yet to be answered. “I wonder if God hears my prayers or am I praying in vain?”, this question has led many people to unbelief. As the prophet explained, however, this is because we base our faith on our improvement after prayer. However, whether you receive an answer to your prayer or not, God is still God and He does not change!

Next, he read from James 4:1-3, “What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures”. The man of God revealed that our pleasures are all fleshly desires; indulgence, comfort, pleasure, and enjoyment.

He then pointed out that while many Christians are good at saying their prayers to God, they are not good at waiting in faith to see what God has to say about their situation. God’s Word teaches us that God speaks to us through His Word and by His Spirit. He added that many are not interested in finding out what God has to say to them, so when they do not receive an answer they give up faith and prayer. This is what happens to people who never really came to God for the salvation of their souls, but for selfish or material reasons.

Taking the second biblical passage from 2 Corinthians 12:7-9: “Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’” Through these verses, it is understood that the Apostle Paul had a weakness—pride, which is the innate sin in us. The prophet explained that sometimes, if we overdo it because of our pride and arrogance, the Lord may allow poverty, sickness, setback, or any other foolish thing to humble us and keep us so that we do not lose our salvation.

He went on to say that our real challenge is not our situation, but our weakness! When you start praying against your weakness, then your weakness becomes a spiritual advantage. The Apostle Paul understood that his weaknesses were not his enemies, but a spiritual advantage through which the power of God would be revealed. It is the only prayer that God always hears—the prayer against your weakness!

The servant of God explained that knowing that God hears you every time you pray is more important than the blessing, healing or deliverance you seek. As Christians, every time we pray, the answer we are about to receive from God has to do with how He wants to accomplish His will in our lives!

IT WAS MOVING IN HER BELLY LIKE A BABY, BUT IT WASN’T!

Ms. Deborah came to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, from the United Kingdom, seeking deliverance from a strange phenomenon that was happening to her. While she knew she was not pregnant, something inside her was kicking and biting her!

Ms. Deborah was privileged to join the prayer line to receive a touch from God. When the Prophetess Evgenia approached to pray for her, an unclean spirit manifested, violently throwing Mrs. Deborah to the ground, stating: “Snakes! We are snakes! I don’t want to go forward!” When asked how they got inside her, they said: “We got inside her when she was sleeping. If she doesn’t move on, her family won’t move on either!”

Later, after her deliverance, Ms. Deborah confirmed all that was said by the unclean spirit. She stated that she had been feeling a strange moving object in her body for months. This started from a particular dream when she saw herself in a dark room where the ceiling was full of snakes. When she woke from this dream, she felt cold and as if someone was drawing circles on her flesh around her belly button. From that moment on, she felt that something was lodged in her belly, moving, biting and kicking her like a living baby. Then she knew it wasn’t normal. Immediately, she saw that she was not progressing in her job and she became tight in her finances, as she said.

She also noted that the same strange phenomenon happened to her sister, but no one could see anything in her stomach attacking her. Ms. Deborah identified the cause as the fact that when she was a young child, her mother took her for initiation as part of a satanic ritual, where she was given two small incisions on both sides around her belly button. Thus, this prompted her to seek Jesus Christ even more—because trials cannot stop the one who relies on God for everything! Finally free from this evil attack, Ms. Deborah had this to say: “No one had taught me this before, but now I know how important it is to maintain my relationship with Jesus Christ. Thank you, Jesus!” were the words she said, full of gratitude!

Whatever your situation as a Christian, don’t doubt for a moment that God’s ability cannot overcome your situation!

“WHAT THE DEVIL HAS STOLEN, GOD WILL BRING BACK!”

Mr. Daniel from Austria, visited the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, to experience the anointing of God in abundance, moving through His servants, and to have his life changed forever!

During the prayer line and as the Spirit of God was powerfully leading His anointed, a prophetic word was given to him through Prophetess Evgenia: “Sometimes you feel really bad and wonder what is going wrong. That is the spirit of death that has come to kill you, to destroy your family, to destroy your professional life and everything that has to do with you. Don’t feel stressed, don’t worry, God will take care of it today and He will deliver you. Whatever the devil has stolen, God will bring back to you!”.

Thankful that God was involved in his case, Mr. Daniel began to share his story, emphasising the severe poverty he and his family experienced. With many efforts and difficulty, they all struggled to survive, facing multiple setbacks in every area of their lives. For example, his mother was battling various illnesses and spiritual attacks before her death.

Mr. Daniel’s career was ruined, losing everything he had achieved. This loss and the need to start all over again filled him with depression and frustration. Furthermore, he referred to a personal experience he had in 2005 when he had an accident that almost cost him his life. Because of the excessive amount of time he would spend driving, he was constantly in danger. All of these experiences filled his life with anxiety and worry for many years.

After the prophetic word he received, full of joy and gratitude that God located him, he believes that his life is under the control and the guidance of God Almighty. Finally, he promised to serve Him all the days of his life and to teach his children God’s ways.

Indeed, there is a spirit behind every situation. Our battle is never against flesh and blood, but against principles, powers and forces that cause pressure and tension in our lives!

“STOP HAVING THIS KIND OF LIFESTYLE!”

The service at the SCOAN Thessalonica was a day of divine direction and blessing for Mr. Dejan who came from Denmark in order to see his life being revived by Jesus Christ!

When the time of the laying of hands from the servants of God ended, it was the moment from Mr. Dejan to receive a prophecy! Prophet Stavros told him: “You love God, but your life is not right before Him. You sin once, then you ask God to forgive you, and you sin again. Jesus Christ loves you, but you cannot continue like this. You see that you have problems, with your family, your people, everything is a mess in your life. You grew old and you have nothing to show. You are as if you have just started your life. You have experience, you have done many things in your life, but still nothing today. Jesus loves you! Today, as you heard the message, is an opportunity for you to come close to God! Stop having this kind of lifestyle. Pray to God, Jesus has already located you today. You are free from demonic attacks, pornography, from everything! But take the decision to follow Christ, otherwise something worse will happen to you’’.

Having accepted these words in his heart, he confirmed that for 25 years he was smoking cannabis, watching pornographic content and sleeping with different women, even going so far as to sell drugs.

In an attempt to break his bad habits, he turned to specialists. But human strength was able to keep him on the straight and narrow for a limited period of time; he could stay off drugs for a maximum of 6 months and then fall back into the same mistake.

Leading such a life, his family failed to remain strong, with his wife of 25 years leaving him, along with their children. Mr. Dejan’s finances were not unaffected either, as the money he lost buying cannabis was nothing short of negligible…

At first, he thought that his character was to blame for his situation. However, there is a spirit behind everything. The unclean spirit that influenced his actions also tormented him in his sleep, causing scratches on his body. He also saw an anaconda when he slept. Thus, many times when he woke up, he felt pain in his body.

For a God-loving man like Mr. Dejan, engaging in such acts caused him to have negative thoughts even about God Himself, since the demon was lying to him that God was not going to help him…

Certainly, any word coming from the devil can only be a lie since Jesus Christ gave Mr. Dejan a new breath of life! “I am full of energy!”, he said, and promised to completely abandon all sinful habits and follow Jesus Christ!

“‘Come now, let us settle the matter,’ says the Lord. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.’” Isaiah 1:18. God is ready to offer you a new life. Are you ready to follow Him?
