USE YOUR TRIALS AS STEPS

Another blessed moment was given to exalt the name of Jesus Christ at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in Thessaloniki. The worship team led the people of God into a deep spiritual experience, singing hymns that invited everyone to enter His presence with gratitude and praise, preparing their hearts for the great blessings that were to follow.

Later, the evangelist Athanasia Tasouli delivered a highly encouraging message titled “USE YOUR TRIALS AS STEPS”, which was intended to help the congregation begin to see trials in a different light. She began by saying that there is no one today who is not facing some sort of problem, but instead the only ones who do not have problems are the deceased! Therefore, if someone is going through trials and difficulties today, let them praise God because they are alive, and they are alive to try again, no matter how many times they have failed in the past! The evangelist continued further to say that, life is a road full of obstacles, which is why we need a mind that contemplates God’s Word, to discover that beyond our situation lies God’s purpose for us. If we change the arrangement of the obstacles that present themselves in our lives, positioning them in a different way we can create steps, forming the ladder of success, and thus being able to climb it we can reach God’s promise for our lives which awaits us at the top!

Expanding on her message, the evangelist said that the road to success is not a bed of roses, it is one of thorns, snakes and scorpions! Reading from the book of Revelation 3:5, 21 “The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. […] To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.”, she explained that we must play our part if we are indeed to be qualified to sit with Him on His throne.

She then emphasised that it does not matter at all how we feel, but that we must walk by faith according to what the Word of God says, which teaches us that all things work together for the good, to those who love God! In other words, to a man of faith whose focus is on God Almighty, every trouble is designed to advance his cause in his spiritual walk with the Lord! So, in closing her message, the evangelist encouraged the congregation, advising that we should not allow difficulties to wipe us out, but to accelerate our calling, and as we think according to God’s way and use our trials as stepping stones, we will turn our scars into stars!

YEARS OF INFERTILITY, PAIN AND BLEEDING, OVERTHROWN IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST

Mrs. Obibo Obehi, a resident of Thessaloniki from Nigeria, attended the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, to give thanks to the Most High God for His gifts in her life!

The problems that brought Mrs. Obehi in search of a miracle began at the age of 26. Specifically, the age when she began to have severe pain during her period, as well as abnormal amounts of bleeding. In addition to the difficulties of dysmenorrhea, she was constantly uncomfortable due to the non-stop bleeding. Every month during the days of her menstruation she was forced to wear double menstruation pads to avoid stains, sacrificing her comfort, and having difficulty sleeping at night or enjoying an outing with her friends.

When she went to the hospital to see what was wrong, the doctor who examined her told her that she had multiple fibroids to a severe degree and that she needed surgery to remove her uterus, along with the fibroids. At the time, Mrs. Obehi refused because she had not yet had children. The doctor compromised and booked her an operation, during which at least some of the fibroids would be removed.

The surgery was deemed successful, but she continued to have the aforementioned problems during her menstruation. In fact, 1 year later she started taking painkillers constantly to manage the pain she was experiencing while at work. Still, despite the problems, she decided not to seek the help of a doctor again, fearing that her uterus would be removed and she would never be able to have children.

This problem lasted for 8 long years, during which Mrs. Obehi experienced great sadness. Every time she saw children playing, she was happy, but on the other hand she would feel sad because she thought she would not be able to have children of her own. This hurt her and made her cry on a daily basis.

At the end of those 8 years, she met her husband, and conceived. Unfortunately, however, due to the state of her body, she was unable to keep the baby and, thus, she miscarried, being forced to go to the hospital to remove the remaining tissue. Understandably, the loss of what would have been her first child was a great blow to her and her husband. Given the situation she had been experiencing for so many years, her grief and sadness grew; she felt that this was the end for her. At the same time, the doctor told her that she had high blood pressure, and that she needed to take medication for it. Due to this she had to be admitted to the hospital for 5 days! Then, she asked the doctor if she would ever be able to have children of her own someday, and he replied that it was something too difficult for her, and that only God could perform such a miracle. He then told her that she would have to go back to the hospital for a second surgery to have her fibroids removed.

Refusing to undergo a second procedure, Mrs. Obehi decided to leave her problem in the capable hands of her Creator. Thus, she took part in the prayer line of the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, with the faith that Jesus Christ would heal her and answer her requests. When the man of God touched her and prayed over her, Mrs. Obehi admitted she felt “very light”.

In the first month after the prayer, her menstruation presented itself as scheduled, with no pain, no difficulty, no abnormal bleeding and no discomfort! The same thing happened the next month, and she could hardly believe that she felt so well, she and her family were amazed! Then, she wrote a request to God on a piece of paper, and asked Him not to menstruate. She brought this paper to the church, where the man of God Harry, touched it during the laying of hands and prayed over it. Indeed, in November she did not get her period instead she was pregnant! This gave her so much happiness and, as she confessed, she felt like she was dreaming! In fact, she asked God for a baby girl, and indeed, at 5 months when she had the appointed ultrasound, she found out that she was going to give birth to a baby girl! As she said, her joy is so indescribable that she wants to fly to Nigeria – without a plane!

Mrs. Obehi then proceeded to show off the Lord’s gift in her life: her ultrasounds and her bulging belly as she is finally expecting her first child!

Deeply grateful to the Giver of her blessings, she advised anyone who has the same problem to take refuge in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, for He can do anything! Furthermore, she promised God that she would stay close to Him, and serve Him with all her heart for the rest of her life!

God is Faithful and Almighty to those who are faithful to Him! Ask and you shall receive, knock and the way shall be opened to you! Don’t hesitate to ask for His help, no matter what your problem is today!

OBTAINED PASSIVE INCOME AT THE AGE OF 25!

Mr. Giorgos Christodoulou from Cyprus, a resident of Thessaloniki, visited the Synagogue, Church Οf All Nations Thessalonica, to testify of the incredible changes that have occurred in his life, after putting into practice the instruction given to him by the man of God!

Two years ago he graduated from the University and obtained a degree in occupational therapy. He started working with children who were experiencing various difficulties in daily living ranging from activities such as feeding, walking, writing and concentration. However, he was not receiving an adequate salary to cope with the demands of his daily life, so he worked a second job for extra income. His finances improved, but he was barely making a living for the whole month. This made him look for a third job, which he found. So it got to the point where he was working three different jobs! He was working 13-14 hours on a daily basis.

Due to the excessive workload, his health was affected. He was experiencing headaches daily, physical fatigue and pain all over his body. Even in his sleep he could see that he was going to work! His family members, including his wife, complained that he was working too much and had no time for them. His relationship with God was also affected as he did not have the strength to study the Bible and pray.

Due to the situation, Mr. Christodoulou decided that he should open his own business. He started the process of finding a business space so that he could properly configure it and make it his own therapy centre. However, he could not find a space that suited what he wanted, something practical, as a result over time he began to despair. He thought that maybe God did nοt want him to set up his own business.

In addition, he was asking those close to him if they could help him find a place, in a time of lockdown, and they all told him that he was crazy and that he would not succeed in what he was trying to do. Their words had a great impact on his life because they filled him with fear, insecurity and doubt. But in his heart, something was telling him to keep going! He desperately wanted to know God’s opinion of his situation. He prayed that God would show him what he should do, and so, the answer to his prayers did not delay! A friend of his told him about the Synagogue, Church Οf All Nations Thessalonica. He told him that there was a man of God who would be able to give him God’s opinion regarding his situation.

So, he came to Thessaloniki in July 2021. Even though the church was closed at that time due to lockdown, he had the grace to go to the prayer mountain where the man of God Harry prayed for him, counseled him and gave him an instruction in righteousness! He told him not to be afraid, to open his business, and God would help him!

While the man of God was speaking to him, confirmation came to Mr. Christodoulou that God was speaking to him. The voices of doubt and fear were silenced and the voice of the man of God, saying: “Do not be afraid. Do it and it will work!” was engraved in his heart!

As he went back to Cyprus, from the very first week he began to take the steps that the man of God had advised him. Within two months, in September 2021, he managed to open his business! As he entered the 4th month, he hired three employees. He now has forty children in which he is treating as an occupational therapist, and his income is €5.000 per month. He can cover all his expenses, and there is enough money left over for him and his family.

He realised after 6 months of running the therapy centre, that although he received what he was seeking from God, he did not feel complete, he felt stagnant. So, he took his time to reflect on his life and his future, and thought: “Since God has blessed me in such a way in six months, am I going to stay on the blessing? Will I not go and serve the Giver of the blessing?” He felt obligated to serve God!

So, at the age of 25, he was able to have an income without requiring his physical presence at his new business. As he said, all this was accomplished after he put into practice the instructions and advice he received from the man of God! Actually, it was the man of God who told him to find a person, put him in the business as a manager, train him and impart his knowledge to him so that he could take up managerial duties. If these things were accomplished, Mr. Christodoulou could have a passive income, be financially independent, and follow God’s calling for his life – which he did!

Through the advice he received, Mr. Christodoulou stressed that it is very important to find a source of passive income to help us get out of the cycle of disappointment, to develop our horizons, and to be able to fulfil God’s calling in our lives!

Flooded with immense gratitude to God, he advised those present not to be influenced by external factors, or those who try to fill them with doubt and fear. He emphasised that we must follow what is in our hearts. We should not cling to the blessing, but run after the Giver of the blessing. Finally, he promised to dedicate all that he owns to God so that through him others may be blessed!

Indeed, knowledge is not the key; obedience is. If you obey the instructions given by the man of God, you will see your life transformed from what it was to what you want it to be! God always rewards the obedient. He does not necessarily reward good, smart or wealthy people; He rewards the obedient.

PEOPLE EMBITTERED HER BUT JESUS COMFORTED HER

Mrs. Sarah Benson, from Northern Ireland, fled to the Lord’s feet, placing all her hope in Him as she came to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica. When she participated in the prayer line, the man of God Harry gave her a prophetic message that was to bring liberty to her heart: “You have experienced so much disappointment in your life. People will come, they will pretend to be friends and then disappoint you. The moment you need them, they will turn their back to you. There is a friend that is closer than a brother. His name is Jesus Christ! If you have Jesus as your friend, He will never leave you, He will never disappoint you! I want to advise you to forgive those people who caused you pain in the past. Forgive and remove it from your mind, it will not help you when you keep thinking about your past. When you have a wonderful future with Jesus, why wasting your time to think about the past? Don’t do that anymore. From today, Jesus Christ will be your best friend! Keep the Word of God in your mouth, in your thoughts, and in everyday conversation. That way, you will be free from all you are complaining of.” Then he prayed for her in the name of Jesus Christ and declared her free once and for all!

At the end of the service, Mrs. Benson wanted to confirm the prophetic words given to her by recounting the disappointments she had experienced through the years. First, she referred to her ex-husband, who was mentally and physically abusive to her and their children. This man was characterised by rage and manipulation. One of the examples of violence Mrs. Benson gave was that he once grabbed her by the neck and threw her against the wall and even threatened to kill her! As she feared for her life, she started running away from the house, to the point where she fell and broke her ankle. Thus, she had to immediately go to the hospital, where she had to undergo surgery.

Further emphasising the nightmare she was experiencing, she pointed out that this man grabbed their eldest daughter by the hair, hitting her on the head and Mrs. Benson had to intervene immediately to save her! She described how there were many similar incidents, on a frequent basis, while she and her children lived with him. In fact, he was constantly verbally abusive to his then family, telling them they were useless, that they could not achieve anything, that they were stupid, and other such things… He seemed to enjoy the abuse, Mrs. Benson pointed out!

In order to be able to get away from this toxic marriage, she had to involve the police! The officers waited for her outside the house to make sure she escaped safely.

Her and her children’s psychological state were in shambles throughout this ordeal. She reported that when her eldest daughter turned 18 she started to harm herself and was suicidal. So, as a mother, she had to channel even more energy into caring for her…

Therefore, Mrs. Benson had to stand as a mother and a father figure as well to raise her 3 children. Thus, she was unable to have a career or a steady income and as a result, she had to rely on benefits from the state. Thus, her finances were in an equally difficult state.

As if all this was not enough, she experienced disappointments repeatedly from friends and relatives. People tended to seek her out whenever they themselves were in trouble, yet they were never there for her when she needed them. Although she was always there for them, they never invited her to any important events in their lives, such as weddings or holidays. In other words, it was as if they were taking advantage of her… In fact, many times, they would suddenly cut her out of their lives without a fight or any other issue beforehand. Just like that, they would leave her and go! With all of the above, it became very difficult for her to trust people.

Along with all these problems she was facing, she was also facing problems in her spiritual life, as she was having very bad nightmares! As she testified, at one point she fell into depression, as everything she was experiencing was a very heavy burden that she could not handle on her own. She stressed that instead of living and enjoying her life, for years she just tried to survive and live day to day.

However, she believes that it was God who kept her alive all this time and did not abandon her. When the man of God Harry prayed for her, she felt wonderful and her mind was opened, as she had never thought that Jesus Christ was her best friend before. She was constantly trying to mend the broken bridges of her relationships with others, instead of just leaving herself in the hands of Jesus Christ who promised to never let her down.

She now feels much lighter than before, and she feels her anger has begun to diminish. Moreover, she intends to follow the instruction she received from the man of God and forgive those who hurt her, as Jesus Christ commanded her to do! She therefore, promised to continue to follow Him and glorify His Holy Name.

Never look back unless it is for the glory of God. In whatever way you have been wronged, leave your case in God’s hands. He sees hearts and is just with all!

HIS LIFE WAS HEADING TO DESTRUCTION AFTER SEEING DEAD RELATIVES IN HIS DREAM

Mr. Jean Claude Seye from the United States of America came to the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Thessalonica, to receive deliverance from a life full of trials and problems.

As the presence and power of God were all over the atmosphere, during the prayer line the man of God Harry approached him and said: “Brother, Jesus has set you free. Do you know what you are free from? You are free from the spirit of death. The spirit of death has been pursuing you to destroy you and kill you. Today you are disconnected, you are free, and live the rest of your life for the glory of God. How do you know the spirit of death is attacking you? Because you see dead people in your dream. I don’t know you and you don’t know me. You have not told me this. The Holy Spirit is telling me what you are free from. Now you believe, beyond a reasonable doubt, that God almighty is in control of your case. It is by the grace of God you are still alive. Live the rest of your life for the glory of God!” During the prayer, God’s anointing manifested so strongly upon him that he could not control his body! As he mentioned, all he could remember was that he was screaming loudly.

Mr. Seye’s transatlantic trip was not in vain! At the end of the service, he wanted to confirm the prophetic word he had received, as he still could not comprehend with how great of power and wisdom the Spirit of God moved in his life.

Concerning his dreams, he said that he indeed saw dead relatives in his dreams, he even saw himself having a meal with them a lot of times. Wanting to emphasise the tragic course his life had taken in every aspect, he explained that he felt dead inside!

From the moment the demonic attacks began, it wasn’t long before illnesses appeared in his life: his eye problems, his prostate, and cholesterol were just some of the traps that satan used to harm him, in order to destroy him, and ultimately kill him! He also mentioned that in his life he had several car accidents in which he could have died! He could not stop thinking about death! Even when he was travelling by plane, he thought it was going to crash! In other words, unwittingly, anxiety and fear ruled his life. He was so tired and tormented by this spirit that he could not progress. Thus, he began having panic attacks.

In terms of his professional and academic life, he faced many obstacles. While he decided to invest in his education by going to a private college, he could not find a decent job, ending up working as a driver, with which did not satisfy him.

Even the relationship he had with his wife was not good. They were constantly fighting for absolutely no reason! Sometimes the arguments could go on for days. Moreover, they had lost a baby: his wife had a miscarriage without any specific medical explanation…

Now, after many years of trials and challenges, he feels as if he has risen from the dead, he feels light-hearted, and he believes that he now has a new life, a new beginning with Jesus Christ. Finally, he promised that from now on he will follow Him 100%!

How wonderful to be a witness of the power of Jesus Christ, how wonderful to see the transforming power of the universe working in people’s lives. What situation are you in? If you going through trials, difficulties, and doubts, Jesus Christ is able to turn your sorrow into joy!
