ARE YOU POOR IN SPIRIT?

The children of God obey their Father’s call, and therefore, they do not lose the opportunity to gather in faith in His name. Knowing that He remains the same, yesterday today, and forever, it was certain that signs and wonders would follow in His presence!

Then, Prophetess Evgenia preached an awakening message entitled “ARE YOU POOR IN SPIRIT?”, through which the believers were able to evaluate themselves in terms of their spiritual wealth. She began by saying that many people, although they are Christians, do not have complete joy in their hearts. In various conversation with others, they confess that they have been going through difficulties all their lives, thus opening doors for satan to enter and steal their joy. The Word of God, on the other hand, teaches us that in every situation we must rejoice! We often think, she continued, that the reason for our sorrow is the lack of material goods and that if we obtain them, we will be happy. True joy, however, comes from loving Jesus, not from the things we amass. This means that no matter what we have in our lives, if Christ is not living in us, we will not have genuine joy.

Other people, because of their spiritual immaturity, think that every bad thing that happens in their lives is as a result of their of sin. To dispel this myth, the Prophetess read John 9:1-7: “As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?’ ‘Neither this man nor his parents sinned,’ said Jesus, ‘but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.[…]’. ‘Go’, he told him, ‘wash in the Pool of Siloam’ (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing”. As we read, the reason this man was blind was so that God’s works would be revealed in his life. In other words, for God’s name to be glorified. In Exodus, 7:3-4, we also read that God hardened Pharaoh’s heart so that His glory might be revealed. So, every situation we go through is for a purpose, but when we don’t understand that purpose, we will do foolish things that may cost us our lives!

The Prophetess went on to elaborate that in the course of our lives we will have difficulties. Many, unfortunately, put an end to their lives because of poverty, illness, debt and other situations, the burden of which they cannot bear because they are poor in spirit, she explained! However, a time of testing is a time to strengthen one’s relationship with God, not s time to diminish it, she added. Therefore, it is wrong to pray: “God, do not allow this difficulty in my life”, because we must go through difficulties so that God’s name may be glorified in our lives, she stressed!

Since the devil tempted Jesus, he does not hesitate to tempt us. When we are attacked, we should follow the Lord’s example by responding with the Word of God. Similarly, to become rich in spirit, we should study the Word and pray on a daily basis, for if we do not prosper in our spiritual life, and we seem to be prospering in some other areas of our life, our prosperity is questionable! Finally, the Prophetess encouraged the congregation to apply the words they heard so that each of us may become Christians with a difference!

WHEN IT SEEMS LIKE THE END HAS COME, JESUS CHRIST IS THE HOPE!

In life, we know that no matter what happens, we serve a Living God! He has promised not to leave us nor forsake us in the midst of tribulations, but always provide a solution! Mr. Alan from Germany confirmed this goodness of God!

From a young age, he was an active man and used to do various sports. One specific day, however, while he was playing wrestling, someone threw him on the ground. At that moment, he felt his lungs collapse … As he visited the doctor; the latter diagnosed him with asthma. Then, Mr. Alan made the connection in his mind that other members of his family also suffered from asthma that they got suddenly…

Because of this problem, he did not only had to give up every dream of playing professional football in Europe, but had to stop playing sports altogether. Even when he had to walk very short distances, he would get tired and find it difficult to breathe! He also had difficulty breathing.

Along with the diagnosis, the doctor had made it clear to him that he should follow medication for the rest of his life, or ran the risk of dying! Of course, the drugs he was taking – three times a day – had side effects. At first, his stomach had swollen, which made him gain some weight, and another side effect was that his hands would shake for a while after taking these pills.

Unfortunately, the difficulty in breathing did not disappear. In fact, his condition worsened during the spring and summer season. Even though he had all the windows in his house open, he was not breathing the amount of oxygen he needed, so he suffered from headaches!

Knowing that asthma was a problem that required spiritual intervention, since other members of the family were also suffering from it, he visited the Christian Church Of All Nations – Thessalonica to receive the freedom he desired! During the prayer line, the man of God, Harry, said these words to him: “Satan just wants to spoil your joy that is why you are experiencing this breathing problem. This is an affliction, because out of nowhere this problem came upon you. You were not born with it. Ιt just came over you at a certain time, at a time that you started thinking big! This is an affliction from satan, in order to steal your joy. Sometimes you have the thought, “How is it possible that God is blessing me, giving me breakthrough but at the same time He does not heal my sickness?”. This is a test of faith! For God to allow this to happen, it means that He is trying to test your faith. Once you pass the test, you have overcome, you will be completely free! So, today is your appointment with Jesus Christ! You will see that from today, you will start doing what you could not do”.

With unwavering faith, Mr. Alan returned to Germany, where he went again to the doctor to be examined. He noticed that his lungs had made progress! That same year, he and his wife thought of travelling to his hometown, Tanzania, and climb the highest mountain in the country. His doctor told him that he should under no circumstances take such an action! However, Mr. Alan knew in his heart that Jesus Christ had healed him completely! Eventually, not only did he manage to climb to the top of the mountain, but when he came back, he was examined again by the same doctor, who noticed that the oxygen capacity of his lungs had increased dramatically!

Now, Mr. Alan has forgotten what asthma is! He has stopped taking his medication, he has lost the extra weight he had gained and travels 5 miles a day by bicycle to go to work, instead of taking his car!

His testimony, of course, did not stop at his healing! He also referred to the business breakthrough God has given him. He runs a business with coffee products in Germany. During the coronavirus quarantine, many businesses shut down and many hopes were lost… But his company not only stood the challenges of these crisis, but also saw a tremendous increase in sales! In particular, he and his wife were able to ship products all over the country and abroad! In 2020, they had the highest sales of any other year!

Thanks to this blessing, with the help of some people sent to him by the Lord, he managed to build facilities in Tanzania that would improve the lives of the people in the country. Among other things, he built two schools and renovated the houses of some elderly people.

Furthermore, on one particular day, a woman visited their shop in Germany because she saw that they were selling coffee products from Tanzania. She told them that her sister had a piece of land there that she wanted to sell and she could not find a buyer. Mr. Alan was immediately interested! He and his wife travelled all the way there, they liked the place, but they did not have the money to buy it, so they went back to Germany. After a while, the owner of the land sent them an e-mail informing them that they could buy the land at price much lower than the initial one! Mr. Alan got the money easily and bought the land he and his partner wanted! Their plans, of course, did not stop here, for they plan to build more buildings in Tanzania and become a channel of blessing for many people!

After such a large package of blessings, Mr. Alan could not but feel free and blessed beyond imagination! His advice to the congregation is to remain steadfast in their faith in God, no matter the circumstances, while he promised the Lord that he would stay close to Him and love Him!

Αnytime you are face to face with uncommon challenges, do not lose heart! They may be to prepare you for the uncommon blessings that are ahead of you, because uncommon blessings always attract uncommon challenges!

“I ENTERED THROUGH HER TEETH!”

Mrs. Caroline from the United States of America, came to the Christian Church of All Nations – Thessalonica, to experience the power that heals, the power that blesses and the power that delivers; the power of Jesus Christ!

During the prayer line, as Prophetess Evgenia prayed for her, an unclean spirit manifested through her, saying the following: “Nothing she does prospers…I take everything, she has nothing! I take everything! I took her hair, her teeth, her bones, everything! Her nails are so thin they just break, they fall off. I took her voice, she can’t sing. I put something in her so she cannot sing. I destroyed her because I hate her! She loves the Lord and sings to Him! She knows the Bible! She has nothing! She can’t do anything! She can’t make a living. She’s very very smart, but I let her do nothing! In every class she is smarter than the professors. I entered through her teeth! She bought something from the store, brushed her teeth with it, and I was able to enter her!”.

Evil attacks were something that characterised her life, since she always faced strange situations that she could not explain with logic. In 2022, she was diagnosed with cancer and started taking some heavy medication. After taking the medication for just three days, she noticed her body dramatically changing and becoming loose! Her body changed to such an extent that even her hair began to fall out and her teeth became thin and weak. She was afraid to chew food because she thought that her teeth would break, and her fingernails were so weak that they would break…

The state of her health had a very big and serious impact on her mental state! She felt unsatisfied, ashamed and powerless! There were times when she was walking and suddenly, she could not even move her legs. She then had to seek help from her family and then stay still until her symptoms subsided.

Her academic career faced just as many challenges. She earned a degree in music, was writing Christian songs from the age of 7, and yet, nothing was progressing in terms of her music career. She was smart, always willing to help and share things with her professors; things that they did not know. However, success did not seem to be on the horizon.

Surprised at the demon’s confession that said, “I entered through her teeth! She bought something from the store, brushed her teeth with it and that’s how I entered her!”, she explained that in 2016 she was looking for a fluoride-free toothpaste, so she went to a natural products store. At the store, she found a tooth product and from the moment she used, as she recalled, the color of her skin changed. Since then she noticed that nothing she tried to do was successful and even if things seemed to be going well, she sabotaged herself and eventually every step towards success failed.

Now, having joy and gratitude, she promised that she will love God with all her heart, she will continue to meditate on the Word of God!

Behind everything, there is a spirit! Only Almighty God can put an end to everything that comes to steal, kill and destroy in your life!

DEPRESSION, ANXIETY AND ANGER GONE!

Mrs. Ema and Mr. Oscar Moya came from the United Kingdom all the way to the Christian Church Of All Nations – Thessalonica to be in the presence of the Lord, seeking a word that would change their lives for the better.

 

During the service, the servants of God came out to minister to the crowd, and Prophet Kastriot had the following message from the Lord for her: “Your problem is not physical, it is spiritual. That is why the devil is fighting us, he finds open doors in our heart. How shall we escape? By studying the Word of God, by praying, and by walking with God. From now on, you will be set free and all will be well. All those things you have written on the placard will be over today!”.

That was Jesus Christ Himself, answering our prayer!”, Mrs. Emma said after the service. Having suffered from depression and anxiety for the past 2 years, Mrs. Emma had exhausted all forms of treatments. Doctors gave her tablets to manage her anxiety, but despite taking the medication, she still had panic and anxiety attacks. In her workplace, her relationships with colleagues and superiors were affected. Regardless of how hard she tried, she always had clashes with those who could not sympathise with her need to request time off. The burden of her illness affected her so severely, to the point that finally she had to resign from her job!

The medication she was taking also had side effects, it made her sensitive to the light and impaired her ability to read, and do regular chores around the house. At night, she often experienced panic attacks and nightmares that caused her to wake up screaming! This put a strain on her marriage and she realised that she had to seek God’s intervention!

Her husband, Oscar, confirmed everything the Prophet said to his wife and also the message given to him by man of God Stavros: “Pray against anger. The anger comes and goes. The reason that you get angry is not even for something serious. There is something that is talking to you, saying, ‘This is very bad and you need to get angry now!’ We pray that God will deliver you from this.”

Mr. Oscar pointed out that what the man of God brought to the surface is true! “I am a quiet person, but sometimes I can be clouded by hatred perhaps to someone I think wishes to cause harm. It has been like this for as long as I can remember. Before I never saw it as an issue, but I can see this is a pattern in my family, so I never realised it was a problem!”. For example, he could take an object and break it to pieces over little things! Because of this, he was never able to keep a job for 3 months. For this same reason, he is self-employed because he constantly sees flaws in other people that could eventually affect him. To avoid any conflict, he would become very introverted. He never saw a reason to seek help, because he never saw it was a problem. He stated that when the Prophet came to him, he saw a flash of light while his eyes were closed, and he immediately felt a dizzying sensation, followed by joy. He is grateful that the Prophet brought up the anger issue because he never took it as a serious problem.

Both Mrs. Ema and Oscar Moya were filled with joy after the service and they thanked God for the blessing they received, and they encouraged everyone to continue to seek Jesus Christ.

Man is a spirit, has a soul and lives in a body. As long as we live, we will continue to be confronted by situations that are not consistent with God’s Word because we are a spirit learning to live in the natural world. But when we are confronted by situations that we cannot handle, Jesus Christ is there and He is ready to support us!
