HELP YOURSELF TO REMEMBER

Faith in God and love for the Savior of the world prevailed once again in the Christian Church Of All Nations – Thessalonica. People from different nationalities and cultures came together and sang to the Son of God who saves like no other. The atmosphere in the church was full of awe, faith, and hope. While the believers worship God give themselves opportunities for deeper understanding and experience of the Christian faith!

In such an atmosphere, the believers welcomed Prophet Stavros, who preached a very powerful message entitled: “HELP YOURSELF TO REMEMBER”, with which he intended to give special emphasis and stress the importance of the promises we make in the relationships we keep.

He began by saying that as social beings, we humans seek communication with others through our relationships. These relationships can be either casual or committed relationships! Casual relationships are based on the circumstances and situations we are in, while committed relationships require a deeper commitment and responsibility. This kind of relationship requires us to keep our promises and not break them. Such a relationship is one we ought to have with the God who created us!

In order to support what he said, he read the example of the Israelites from the Book of Exodus 24:7 “Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They responded, “We will do everything the Lord has said; we will obey.” who promised to obey God’s commands and instructions, whereas not much later, in the same book, turned against God and forgot their promises. However, as prone as we are to break our promises to others, keeping our promises to God is of utmost importance. Specifically, he emphasised: “If you go out of your way or duty because of the problem you have, you forfeit the promise and put yourself out of God’s protection.”

He stressed that many Christians, when they are in need, promise that they will follow Jesus Christ and that they will serve Him for the rest of their lives, however, once they receive what they seek, they simply forget everything they promised. The man of God revealed that these Christians suffer from selective amnesia because they can easily remember other events that interest them such as anniversaries, birthdays, appointments, etc.

Finally, he concluded that our most important mission as children of God is to remember our promises and our duty before Him, because God Almighty is faithful and constant in His Word, but His faithfulness applies only to those who remain faithful to Him!

ADVICE FROM HEAVEN MADE A WAY WHERE THERE WAS NO WAY

Life often confronts us with unforeseen challenges that test our patience, faith, and determination. In such moments, when everything seems to fall apart, the strength of faith and quest for God’s ultimate power can bring a permanent solution and restoration! Mrs. Simou’s story is a characteristic example of the transformative power of God that can change the story of anyone ready to rely on Him.

It all began two years ago when Mrs. Simou and her husband took the bold decision to expand their farming operations, taking their first steps into the demanding area of trading. They aimed to capitalise on their production by importing and exporting products that they cultivated with dedication and care, hoping to expand their professional horizons and create new sources of income. In one of their first major export ventures, they undertook the transport of 24 tons of ginger to the Netherlands. A market that looked promising for their product. However, the process turned out to be much more complicated and demanding than they had originally estimated.

Despite their unremitting dedication and the intensive preparations they had made to ensure the success of the mission, their partnership with the shipping company ended in disaster. Instead of the ginger arriving fresh at its destination as planned and as expected, the product arrived in the Netherlands frozen, due to the wrong temperature during transport, and therefore unsuitable for sale. This serious mistake of the shipping company caused incalculable financial losses for the couple, who had invested significant amounts of money in the production, packaging, and transport of ginger. Their hopes to succeed in the foreign market were dashed, and their dream of financial prosperity quickly turned into a nightmare.

The failure of this export attempt not only affected their finances but also their personal lives, as the pressure and frustration that followed sparked intense tensions and conflicts in the family. The financial disaster they experienced had a direct impact on their relationship as the couple found themselves at a dead end, trying to find a solution to a situation that seemed impossible to solve. The attempt to reorganise production and replace the damaged product was an extremely difficult and exhausting process, which required 2.5 months of hard work. The reconstruction of production was not only time-consuming, but also highly impacting psychologically, as the couple tried to overcome their frustration and cope with the feeling of failure.

Along with their efforts to restore production, the couple was confronted with the shipping company’s reluctance to acknowledge its mistake and pay the required compensation. The company tried to avoid its responsibilities by delaying the compensation process and creating further financial problems for the family. This situation aggravated their already difficult financial situation, leaving them in uncertainty and despair. Despite the difficulties and adversity, Mrs. Simou and her husband continued to struggle, looking for ways to overcome the obstacles and rebuild their lives, relying on perseverance, faith, and hope for a better future.

Mrs. Simou made the brave decision to seek the hand of God in the Christian Church Of All Nations – Thessalonica, and thus found refuge in her faith. After the prayer and the service, she received a piece of advice from Prophetess Evgenia, who advised her to hire a capable lawyer to assert her rights. This advice proved to be critical, as Mrs. Simou, despite her previous failed attempts, again felt her hope rise. Following the advice of the Prophetess, Mrs. Simou and her husband teamed up with an experienced lawyer, who took charge of the legal claim for the compensation they were entitled. The process, although full of challenges, ultimately yielded fruitfully. In just 19 days from the start of the legal action, they managed to recover the sum of 20,000 euros, which the shipping company had persistently refused to pay for a whole year, despite its obvious mistake.

Taking back this significant amount not only brought financial relief to the Simou family but also represented a moral victory, confirming the value of perseverance and faith. With the money Mrs. Simou and her husband did not just think of themselves. They chose to support various charitable causes, offering help to those in need.

Concluding her beautiful testimony, Mrs. Simou full of joy and gratitude towards God Almighty for blessing her, she promised to follow Him for the rest of her life!

Indeed, we are called to bless others as God blesses us! Therefore, after the miracle God performs in our lives, we ought to look around us to see who can benefit from God’s grace in our lives.

FROM BANKRUPTCY TO BLESSING!

There are more than a few people who, because of financial difficulties, often find it difficult to meet their basic needs such as housing, adequate food, education, and health care. Every day they find themselves in a vicious cycle of stagnation and struggle for a better future. As a result, they live in an atmosphere of frustration and misery.

So was Mrs. Grace, who as she began to tell her story, emphasised that she lived in such a situation. She began stating that she and her family were going through trials and tribulations they could not control. For example, they were not able to pay their bills and owed money to a large number of people. Meanwhile, their ability to repay their mortgage had been significantly reduced, with the bank warning them of the risk of losing the house they were living in. Their financial situation continued to deteriorate with the threat of repossession of even their car!

At the same time, this condition encouraged quarreling within the family, thus adding further emotional burden. Mrs. Grace pointed out that the limited opportunities to travel, to go out, and to other goods such as toys for their children had serious consequences. All these made their children feel disadvantaged compared to others of their age, making them feel that their parents didn’t care about them.

As far as their professional life was concerned, the family owned a company, a recruitment company with sanitation services. However, there came a time when they no longer attracted clients, and so there was no way out for the owners.

Without knowing what else to do, Mrs. Grace addressed the Christian Church Of All Nations – Thessalonica, asking for a change in the quality of her life! In fact, as she and her loved ones mentioned, they felt the power of God working mightily in their lives at the time of prayer!

The changes after the divine touch she received were immediate! Suddenly, the life of the family began to be transformed. They signed contracts with clients in their business, which marked the beginning of a new era. The getaways and trips became part of their daily routine, allowing them to meet their needs without struggling, without the burden of financial pressure. Joy flooded their souls, as they no longer owed anything, as they had managed to settle their debts. They managed to pay off the car and the loans which caused them immeasurable amounts of stress and anxiety. At the same time, they decided to invest in their home with a renovation, something they could never have imagined.

Finally, she promised to remain faithful to God and serve Him so Jesus becomes a channel of light in every area of her life.

As a conclusion, whenever you are faced with unusual challenges, don’t despair! It may be to prepare you for unusual blessings that await you because unusual blessings always attract unusual challenges.

FROM ANGER AND STRESS TO THE PEACE OF JESUS CHRIST!

In a society where challenges and tensions are inevitable, remaining calm and restrained becomes a necessary virtue. Every day, we are faced with situations that can irritate or frustrate us. From the pressure of work, to the pressures of personal relationships, to social media, the challenges are all around us. But what should our attitude be when the giant of anger knocks at our door?

Such a situation was faced by Mr. Nektarios from Skydra, who came to the Christian Church Of All Nations – Thessalonica, to get an answer to his problems. During the laying of hands, the man of God Stavros approached him and told him the following: “I see that you have trouble with anger, and it becomes a problem in the family, as well as with the people who know you. But in order to be free, you must also want to be free. So as we pray now, Jesus Christ will help you!” After this Prophetic word, he wanted to confirm all the words spoken about his life.

For the last two years, Mr. Nektarios has been facing serious financial problems, which plunged him into anger and anxiety. This anger affected his professional life as well, as whenever he was confronted with something that bothered him, he would leave his job without completing it. This instability in his work exacerbated his financial situation, as he was forced to constantly change jobs. Although he was always a pleasant man, who everyone wanted to be around, his friends began to scold him for the change in his behaviour.

When the man of God, Stavros, prayed for him, Mr. Nektarios felt an unprecedented relief! After this wonderful freedom he received, he promised to be calm as the best is yet to come in his life!

When your condition goes beyond the natural then it becomes a curse, which only Jesus Christ can break! If you feel that no one can help you run to Jesus Christ, for he has the solution to your every problem!
