THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING

As believers from every corner of the earth gathered in the service of the Christian Church Of All Nations – Thessalonica to receive a blessing, an atmosphere of deep faith filled the place. The worship team lifted this atmosphere even more as they sang hymns of praise, worship, and thanksgiving, preparing the hearts of those in attendance to receive a message that would change their worldview!

A little later, the man of God George, preached an encouraging and optimistic message to the children of God entitled: “THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING”. This message was intended to awaken, motivate, and remind the children of God of the great power of thanksgiving towards God!

He began his message by reading from the Book of Acts 16:20: “[…] They brought them before the magistrates and said, “These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproar by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice.” The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods. After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks.” Focusing on the wretched condition in which Paul and Silas were, he asked the people of God to reflect on their present situation.

The moment Paul and Silas thanked God in the midst of their trial, something unprecedented happened! An extraordinary event set them free from the bondage of their prison! So, he explained to the children of God that those who bless God in their trials will be blessed by God through their trials.

He then emphasised that, as children of God, in our daily lives, many people notice how we deal with our difficulties. Many want to see how steadfast we are in our faith because those who bless God in their trouble or difficulty prove their sonship. Therefore, Prophet George underlined that our trial is an opportunity to prove the quality of our faith in God. However, most Christians today choose to suffocate in their condition, rather than see the future optimistically!

Then, in order to motivate the crowd, he read from the Book of John 11:38, when Jesus Christ gave thanks to God and God intervened, He raised Lazarus! Always having the Bible as a foundation, he prompted the believers to thank God in every situation and He will bring the solution as He has done many times before. Wanting to support the power of thanksgiving even more, he quoted 2 Chronicles 6:4 and 2 Chronicles 7:1, where we clearly see the power of thanksgiving through King Solomon. With a word of thanksgiving the Lord sent fire and consumed the burnt offering and sacrifices and the glory of the Lord filled the temple! He then explained, that in order for us to also be able to see God working in our lives, we must stop doubting! In fact, he stressed that the greatest antidote to doubt is to reflect on God’s record in our lives, that will help us increase our trust in God and believe that God will act in our situation! When we apply this “rule” then, automatically our heart will turn from “black” to “bright”!

IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THE INEVITABLE WOULD HAPPEN, UNTIL…

How many human lives have been destroyed to date? How many people have not been able to reach their full potential because of wrong behaviors? Ignoring a great truth of life, that there is a spirit behind everything. The case of Mr. Yvelin and his wife, Mrs. Christina, from Bulgaria could have been the same. Read below carefully and you will surely learn a lot…

To begin with, Mrs. Christina had negative thoughts from the age of 19. She believed that she was not good at anything she did, that God did not love her and that He was not even listening to her prayers… Over the years, this condition became more intense.

Explaining further, she said that it was very difficult for her to sleep at night because she was constantly crying and she was full of fear. She would have panic attacks when she tried to pray, even hearing voices telling her that praying was a waste of time! In addition, she also felt a dark presence near her. It was obvious by then that all these thoughts had taken over every inch of her mind!

An illustrative example is the fact that one day, in the form of a thought, a curse about the Holy Spirit came into her mind. “At that moment,” I said, “That’s it…” she stressed. After that, Mrs. Christina went crazy because she thought she had lost her soul! She completely isolated herself from family and friends, she quit her job, and all she did was sit in her room, without confiding to anyone, not even her husband, all these negative thoughts she was dealing with.

Another problem she experienced was her inability to travel by plane. Every time she boarded one, she had terrible difficulty in breathing because of fear…

Because she knew God and the Christian Church Of All Nations – Thessalonica, she participated in the prayer line, where she received the following word from Prophet Kastriot: “I do not see you happy… You go to a corner and you cry all the time. You complain here and there. You do not know where to leave the burdens you are carrying. As we pray now, everything will go everything will be fine! You will see that you will be happy and you will be thanking God every day. Do not forget to have a relationship with Him, with His Word, to pray… And you will see that your heart will be filled with joy!”.

With the words of the man of God being 100% confirmed in Mrs. Christina’s life, she declares that there is joy in her and not fear, negative thoughts are a thing of the past, while enjoying a beautiful relationship with her husband and her family. Of course, the fear of boarding an airplane has disappeared, she is now working normally, and along with Mr. Yvelin, they have business plans for the future!

The hand of God was not only limited to Mrs. Christina’s life, but was manifested with power in her husband’s life as well. Ever since he was a teenager, he got angry very easily and at the slightest provocation, he could lash out at others. As he actually did! There were times when he would beat other people to the point of causing them bruises and bleeding…

It goes without saying that the spirit of anger caused problems in his marriage – as he argued for insignificant reasons with his wife, but also in his workplace. The anger was so intense that his wife was seriously considering leaving him. Also, he did not have many friends in his life either, since the people who knew him called him crazy! Nevertheless, Mr. Yvelin not only did not realise there was a problem but felt good about himself!

Until he began to realise that there was this unclean spirit in his life. So, he took part in the prayer line, and the man of God Harry spoke to him: “Pray against the spirit of anger that it may not push you to do something that you will pay for the rest of your life. You have a heart that loves God, that wants to serve Jesus. But, sometimes this spirit comes along and confuses you. Others have told you the same thing as well. And so, from something small and insignificant, you get furious. And that’s where the Word of God says that a bad deed can cancel a thousand good deeds you’ve done in the past. Just like one good deed can cancel out a thousand bad deeds you have done in the past. So, you love God, you want to serve Him, and you want Him to use you, to do His work. But think about it, if you’re not free from that spirit of anger, which when it comes you’re not yourself, it can ruin every good thing you’ve built in your life! So, you lose people’s trust, you lose your credibility. So, right now, as the Spirit of God brings this to the surface, we will pray together that every chain of anger in your life will be broken, and you will see that life from now on will get on a rising course.”

As for the changes in his life after these words from Heaven? Mr. Yvelin felt a weight lifted off of him at the time of prayer. He boldly states that he is free, happy, and enjoys his marriage to his wife!

In closing, his advice to the crowd was to remember that there is no problem that Jesus Christ cannot solve, while Mrs. Christina’s promise is to live for Him for the rest of her life!

Fear, anger, negative thoughts and so on… All of these have one thing in common – that the greatest thing satan aims for is to ruin your relationship with God, don’t let him do it!

FROM WORRY TO TRUST

In modern society, parents’ concern for their children has become a constant and integral aspect of everyday life. Parents often feel the burden of responsibility to protect their children from every possible danger, whether it is related to their health, education or social relationships. This concern stems from a desire to ensure that their children will grow up safely and prosper in a world that often seems unpredictable and full of challenges. This constant anxiety, although normal, can deeply affect family life and the mental balance of both parents and children.

The same was true for the life of Ms. Maria, who visited the church and felt the presence of God, and He did not leave her unnoticed, giving her a prophetic word from Prophet George, who said, “I see that you worry a lot, ‘What will happen to my children? When will my children come to the Lord? What will happen? When will it happen?’ As I said before, the Lord has His appointed time. Don’t worry and spoil your health. When the Lord’s time comes, He will bring them to Him. Don’t worry, the Lord is in control.” After this divine message, Ms. Maria returned to the church to share her testimony with all those present.

She began by confirming the prophecy and went on to confess that she did, indeed, have great concerns about her children. She explained that there were frequent frictions between her and her children, even over simple everyday matters. Instead of resorting to prayer and asking God to intervene, Ms. Maria admitted that she often complained to her husband and spoke negatively about her situation. As a result, not only did the situation not improve, it got worse. This tension continued to affect her daily life, with constant arguments at home, which worsened her relationship with her children. She also added that this situation not only burdened her psychologically, but also affected her health. She had difficulty sleeping, suffered from tachycardia and swelling, thus visiting a cardiologist. Despite her worries, her prayer for her children was always: “God, please, I want them to be saved, to follow You and to serve You with all of their heart.”

During the prayer, therefore, Ms. Maria was shocked by the prophetic word, as she believed that she had left everything in God’s hands and that she had no other worries. However, after the prayer, she now feels peace and tranquillity in her heart. She also added an incident that happened after the prayer. One of her children, who lives abroad, and for whom she was particularly worried, called to let her know that she got a promotion at her job! Despite the comments of her colleagues, who wondered how she managed it, she replied that she managed it by the grace of God.

Ms. Maria’s advice to all parents who may be going through a similar situation is not to worry too much, but to fulfil their role, and their children will come close to the Lord. Finally, with tears in her eyes, she promised to take on her role herself, doing everything she can for God to find faith in her heart and lead her to her calling!

We can really understand that when you put your problems in God’s hands, God will put His peace in your heart.

HOW A DREAM BECOMES A NIGHTMARE

In life there are times when dreams bring us hope, guidance, and many times communication with God. But for Ms. Valbona, a dream became the beginning of a demonic chain of events that marked her life for eighteen whole years. A nightmarish dream, with spirits and terrifying images, led her to a physical and mental collapse, with pain, illness, financial, but also family problems. Her life was a constant struggle, until a touch and a prayer brought about the turning point!

Ms. Valbona, looking for healing and the Divine touch that would put an end to the pain and illnesses that tormented her for eighteen whole years, visited the Christian Church Of All Nations – Thessalonica.

As the laying of hands took place, the Spirit of God identified her, answered her prayers, and exposed the unclean spirit that afflicted her. Prophet George Athanasiadis prayed for her and the demon behind her misery confessed and said: “Sickness! Disease!”

That very day, Ms. Valbona wanted for the glory of God to confirm the deliverance she received. She explained that it all started when she was dealing with long-term health problems in various parts of her body, such as her waist and back. At the same time, she was dealing with thyroid and cholesterol. These made her feel tired and unable to carry out her daily duties as a working mother, so she visited a specialist.

Amidst this whole situation, Ms. Valbona added that there were repeated fights in her house, due to the financial problems they were enduring, thus making her situation more tiresome.

It all came to a head when Ms. Valbona dreamt that she was climbing a mountain with two other women and, suddenly, many scary cows appeared. At that very moment she felt a spirit enter her!

After receiving prayer from the man of God, George Athanasiadis, the pain in her lower back subsided, and now she can easily bend down without any pain at all. After this healing she received, she wanted to give thanks to God Almighty and emphasised that God has His way of saving us whenever we are in danger and need!

The power of faith is priceless. Despite the hardships and pain we may face for years, freedom and healing come when we choose to trust God. This reminds us that God is faithful to those who are faithful to Him! When we remain faithful, regardless of trials, God is always by our side, ready to bless us with His presence and care!
